Meizu announces official certificate for third-party accessories

Meizu has announced a official certificate for third-party accessories. The certificate stands for that the product is checked by Meizu and meets strict standards and guidelines. Manufacturers can obtain the certificate by contacting Meizu from their contact page. If a product passes the certification process, the manufacturers is allowed to publish a 'M'-logo on the product's package, as seen on the picture above.

Not likely.
More likely is that it's a response to inferior 3rd pary accesories. This "M" label would be the quality seal of approval from Meizu. Those without would be shunned upon and driven off the market.

This is a wise decision from Meizu since inferior 3rd party products might detarierate Meizu's reputation.
