Meizu Acquires Meizu Me
Note: This was our April 1st Joke.

Meizu have had a really huge success with the Miniplayer M6. This is nothing new for all of us. They started the design/production of the Miniplayer focused on China market and never thought about other markets. Starting with MeizuMe, Meizu got attention outside of China, being noticed in several gadgets blogs like Engadget.com, Anythingbutipod.com, Cnet.com and Dapreview.net.
That cought Dane-Elec's eye and just a month after started conversations, Dane-Elec begun to sell their rebranded Meizu players. A big success for Meizu.
This is not the end though, Meizu really wants to grow up and show themselves as a poweful and consolidated company overseas, that's why they're planing to open a couple of offices in USA and England (Meizu own offices).

Internet has an answer for every question out there, not likely to be always the answer you're looking for.

Meizu knows about MeizuMe and all the hard work that we have been doing, spreading the voice all over the world for them, and their products. This is something to be proud of, MeizuMe has members from everywhere: USA, Argentina, England, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Costa Rica (me and a couple of friends) and several other places. During the past two months, Meizu have been in comunication with Err0r because they feel they need their English community to keep growing.
I've known about this for a while, but didn't want to announce it before it was final. Now that I have, I feel that a burden on my heart has been relieved. Err0r is in China, Meizu paid his trip there and yesterday it becomes official. Meizu acquired all the rights over MeizuMe.
There's gonna be a transition span in which several changes will take part, but don't worry, me and rest of the gang will stay active. With this acquisition, the only change is that large amounts of money can be invested into MeizuMe to make it even better for its members!Internet has an answer for every question out there, not likely to be always the answer you're looking for.

Wow, congratulations on the acquisition!
I've been a long time member and have mixed feelings about this. Oh well, I guess only time can tell. If at the end of the day, the member benefits - then why not?

Waow ! What means this acquisition ? Is MeizuMe now a part of Meizu ? What about the English Meizu BBS ? Error goes to China just for meeting Meizu staff, or for working with them over there ?
You're pretty popular this morning, Dee Dee !

Whoever you are, Error, you made a good business decision. Sell high (before the crash).
This is also sad news for me, since Meizu seems to like making anything with potential turn out wrong. Anything Meizu touches turns to sh**.
So long, MeizuMe.
Parting is such sweet sorrow...

First of all I think this is awesome for Err0r and also for the MeizuMe community. Maybe you (Marcelo) and Err0r get paid?
I'm sure the site will develop .. we won't have to put ads everywhere and there might even be more competitions.

Unfortunately, the deal didn't go through. It turns out that Meizu decided in the last minute to pull out of the deal.
Oh well, I didn't want to let go anyway.
Happy April Fool’s day everyone!
(It was Marcelo's idea)
Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!
