MBOOK Function
1: Internet super convenient. Anytime, anywhere access.
2: The video game: We all know this
3: Digital hand-painted plate: to develop such a software. Applicable to industrial design for human use, and I'm looking forward to,
4: Notepad:
5: Business Assistant: convenience and information, etc. Figure out customers
Functional arrangement:
Size: 210 * 140 * 14 (A4 paper about half the thickness of the helicopter bit is 10mm, radians 4mm. Personally think that as the "Apple" feel affected too thin.)
Screen size: 8.4 inch screen, 4:3 ratio
mini usb interfaces. MIC hole .3.5 headphone hole. the power button. vol-vol +. Back button
No external keyboard, (external keyboard destined for indoor use only, if have to go out with a keyboard, a large portable greatly reduced, in that case go to Shenzhen to buy a cottage is original. To the whole of the person must have great play MBOOK Department of public computers, have to use an external keyboard, then open your desktop or laptop, over)
No video output Now LCD TV, CD player all with USB functions, copy movies to the U disk can go up, personal feel of a movie with MBOOK enter the class of very cups!)
Design highlights:
Out of the "apple" shape of the shadow, with no frame design,

The pictures seem to be fan-renders.
Operating system will either be MyMobile (Meizu customized version of Windows CE 6.0) or a custom version of Android. Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

Thanked 14 Times in 9 Postsif only .... it had a bigger screen ... somthing like 10" !!!!! i would buy it if it has android on it as well !!!!!
hdmi + 12 hr + 1080p is probably due to the use of tegra 2 chipset (hopefully) as to date its the only chipset that has these features in such compact design and no need for fans as visible in the renderings !
i would definitely buy one if it had the above mentioned specs

Thanked 189 Times in 130 Postserrr what?
Shouldn´t they first focus on finishing m8´s firmware or producing an m9..?
it will be just me ofcourse
Anyway i think they will have a hard time selling it since there are so many tablets out there & the best one is still to come: Notion Ink adam...

Thanked 14 Times in 9 Postsi think something is missing in terms of screen size specs ... i remember reading somewhere and i watched that interview once with notion ink where they stated that the price will correspond with screen size and it will go up to 12" and that there will be 4 variations 10" with pixelQI and 10" without , same goes to the 12" :P not that it will interest anyone though
but
if the price is right ... notion ink's adam is a no brainer its a must for tablet enthusiasts
as for the mBook why is there no mmc reader ? or usb connectors ? :S theres so little info on this thing ! they better check what the market is going to get before making something that could end up outdated !Last edited by nice2know_u; 04-11-2010 at 10:40 PM.

And it will probably run WinCE. We can expect it's v1.0 firmware sometime 2014y, meanwhile hundreds of leaked half translated firmwares will keep all of us busy flashing. By the time the final firmware is out, the stock tablet will run a 5Ghz CPU have a resolution of 2048x1176 and a 4G connection...

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsHDMI is a must for Mbook to stand-out
1. It's better to use android to get more apps.
2. battery life of at least 8 hours
3. capable to play at least 720p HD video
4. HDMI output is a must

time and money wastement! there are firms who do a better job on this. Why meizu is gaining more and more product trees? first mp3 player, than out of nowhere a phone and now out of no nowhere a tablet? was this M8 this successful to employ many more engineers for such things?
smaller than 9" screen, winCE, maybe no HDMI output -> outdated!
MEIZU please take my following lines serious. Develop a new device with specs that are up to date at release date and a well made soft-/hardware. Noone wants a outdated and crude device, even it's cheaper!Last edited by iceman#1; 04-16-2010 at 06:03 AM.
