Meizu Music Card - Yet More News

Through some posts by Meizu CEO Mr. Wong on the Meizu BBS, we have gathered some Meizu M3 Music Card information to share with the community.

First of all, the pricing for the 8GB unit has changed a little from what was previously reported. The 8GB will now cost 899 CNY (approx. $120 USD), a 50 CNY increase from the previous 850 CNY price.

Secondly, Mr. Wong said that the 4GB and 8GB versions Meizu M3 might be released at the same time (March 20, 2007) as the 2GB.

Also, the once proposed idea of a black backside of the M3 was abolished by an unanimous decision by the Meizu marketing department.

Finally, he comments the sound quality saying that the M3 will provide a better sound stage and a greater clarity in comparison with the M6. He also wrote that the M3 will have the same signal to noise ratio as the M6, and that they stated >85dB to abide to some local regulations.

Well it's comforting to know that after buying the M6 with 'Innovative power supply design, reducing the interferences and noises. High precise electronic components coupled with 8 layers PCB ensure the clearness of sound quality' Meizu acknowledge that the sound quality is not all that it could be.

Removing the strange background noises would certainly go a long way in enhancing my Miniplayer 'experience'.
