Final Details of the Meizu Music Card Revealed

Just in time for CeBIT 2007, Meizu have announced the final specifications as well as released new pictures of their coming (and delayed) product, the Meizu Music Card M3.
The Meizu Music Card is a small (81mm x 39mm x 6.9mm) player featuring a 1.5-inch 176x132 pixel screen and support for a wide array of audio codecs such as MP3, FLAC, WAV, WMA Lossless and OGG. Contrary to previous information, the M3 will now allegedly playback XviD video at 25FPS. Other functions included are FM radio, voice recorder, lyrics support, clock and calendar. Finally, the battery time is rated at max 23 hours for audio and 5 hours for video.
The 2GB version is the first in line to be released on the 20th of March 2007 for a mere 500 CNY (roughly 65 USD).Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI have to say that, in my opinion, the final M3 is rather dissapointing. Nothing at all to differntiate it from the Nano, in terms if looks, or the iRiver H10. Furthermore, the proposed change in GUI used has failed to materialise.
As much as it makes me sad to say this, the M3 is a blatant Nano copy, with video added on. It is actually quite a shame as the company's initial plans, which can be found here: Meizu Music Card M3 Release Date and Pricing
along with the proposed changes in GUI would have made it very unique.

A S/N (Signal to noise) value of 85dB is not good. Not at all. Must be wrong. Must be.

No it probably isn't wrong, from what I heard from my own M6 I wouldn't be surprised. The noisefloor of meizu's new generation are far too high... they don't match those of competitor's products (eg. iaudio and iriver).
Current Rigs:
8GB iAudio 7 > Not in use
4GB + 32GB iAudio D2 > Alessandro MS-Pro
Sony MZ-NH1 > Headroom Total Bithead > Grado Labs PS-1
2GB Meizu M6 T1 > Not in use
8GB iPod Touch 2G > Shure SE530
