Finally! The new Meizu MX Quadcore is launched and will be available on June 30th. As expected it comes with the new Android 4.0 based Flyme 1.0.

Flyme 1.0 for MX 2-core and M9 will be released in early Juli. It comes "over the air", so you will definitely not miss it.

Flyme 1.0 will come with improved and new apps. New will be:
- a stopwatch, countdown timer and multi-segmented timed task lists
- Flyme Voicemail (record rejected calls)
- Flyme Message (messaging app like Whatsapp)
Also worth to be mentioned is the heavily improved camera app.

Big day on the Meizu forums in China...probably nearing 120,000 posts by midnight. Way more than the MX launch last January. Will be interesting to see the crowds this weekend as gauge of MX 4-core vs. Flyme 1.0.

Don't be so sure; a lot of fans from the Mainland will be making the trip across the border on Saturday & Sunday.
