The Dream Phone gets reviewed

There is only one subject on chinese gadgets-sites today: The Meizu MX
The Dream Phone seems to be making a very good impression so far. The back cover which we thought was going to be pretty awful is getting lots of positive comments despite our initial thoughts. The device perfoms quite nicely with its 1.4GHz dual-core processor and Flyme OS. There's a collection of reviews over at the company's BBS, so if you'd like to practice your chinese language skills be sure to check them out!

I don't thinks so :D of course, he should do that, as we were honest beta testers for him... But I don't thinks so. And look! After review... It's not as bad as we expected

They don't say anything about the back cover creaking - so that's a plus! I still think it would look better in matte black.

Guys, I can't find anywhere sound test for MX. What about quality of external speaker?
Maybe some video-review with sound from speaker...

About sound - be patient! They just released it a few hours ago! Give it a few days, and You'll get a professional review, from some Chinese geek. And... I already pre-ordered it, shame on me... :/

I'm yet to see a review that's anything but a glorified unboxing. Remember, Engadget raved about the M9 too, and it turned out to be a lemon until recently.

comparison of various smartphones beside the MX by engadget.... looks like they got a minimum of two MX units...

Would the Galaxy Nexus sit in between the S2 and the Note? Glad the MX is looking sharp with the big boys.

Yes, of course. And also geotagging,and anti-shake.
But MX-camera also has a problem...

I expect people to refrain from singing Meizu's praises until we get a good idea of what's being offered. There's no use getting sucked into what could be another Meizu prototype.

I also pre-ordered mine. Should get it January.

According my chinese contact the Quad-core version should be out May/June, she did get this info from the local meizu-shop.

It seems to me as if the coating on the camera lens is missing. They said MX will be further improved before its release, I really hope they fix it.

How about the back? It features double coating design, making it looks smooth and glossy without cheap plastic feel, giving users premium feel and look. The word “Meizu MX” has three-dimensional effect, looking beautiful. Seamless workmanship with bit of curvature.
