First photo of M9II sees the light, now called Meizu MX

J. Wong CEO just posted a photo of the upcoming Meizu MX Android phone (previously called M9II) along with a price tag of 3580 RMB (roughly 550 USD) for the 16 Gb version. It might be just a non-working prototype (the display shows the time 18:20 as most PS screenshots that were posted earlier) but we can see the back side of the phone is white and the touch buttons have undergone some changes. Previously announced hardware details include a 4" screen with 960x640 resolution, 1 Gb RAM and ROM, an A9 dual-core CPU all packed in a 63.5 x 119 x 9.5 mm shell. No more information is available at the moment but we'll keep you updated as always!

Sounds just about right, still, fans would want more than what mister blurrycam can produce

Do you think they will offer trade ins for the M9? I guess it depends on when they release it.

Jw mention not only HDMI, but also include S/PDIF output, just not sure via hdmi or 10 pin usb output. i hope more via usb, that can give some speaker company make docking speaker for meizu MX

It's not fake, but most likely just a dummy.

Nice to see that a lot of progress is being made. HDMI with only 16GB of storage? That's slightly annoying.

Nice seems to be a mix of 3gs and galaxy s..

I think they are going to sell 32 Gb version too, but I assume it's going to use microSD as well you so you can always buy a larger one.

Apart from that, this will be a fantastic phone!

Edit: Can anyone explain what cables you would use to get HDMI out working? I can't seem to find anything on the interwebz.

what you're looking for is an hdmi cable. (hopefully) the same type of thing that you can use for hd cameras and laptops, etc.

Here i found about Meizu MX.
Hope it will release in india.
Thay also posted the approx price Rs. 24, 334.

I wouldn't bet much on an international release seeing how the M8 and the M9 have only been sold within China.

I am actually quite unsure if I should skip the M9 and wait for the MX..
