Change your boot animation!

If you're temprooted, this is really easy:

1 Place new bootanimation.zip onto the root of your SDcard.
2 Use Root Explorer to copy it to /data/local in your phone's internal memory.
3 That's it - reboot and enjoy!

Possible issues: some animations may not run correctly due to the fact that the M9 has a high res screen. To undo, simply delete the file from /data/local, again using RE.

Any information on how to create customs animation (format of png files, definition for the desc.txt file ????)

I think all frames have to be standard png files, best at the native resolution of the M9 (960x640), otherwise they will be stretched to fit.
