Finally! Meizu M9 is on sale right now

After years waiting, the Meizu M9 is finally available for sale. Despite the harsh weather conditions, Meizu fans all around China queued this morning to be among the first fans to get their hands on the Meizu M9.

Pictured above is the first Meizu M9 buyer in Guangzhou.

Incredible, I went to the Meizu store in Beijing near Sanlitun and so many people waiting there. I had no reservation and didn't want to wait in line so no M9 for me.. :-( I will try to get one tomorrow as I will leave China next week.

Can you tell me the offical price of the M9?

The Meizu China BBS broke their all-time record for number of posts on a single day...the total for 1/01/2011 was 137,116.

I wonder how many m9 are being sold today.

Awesome, a real indication of the popularity of Meizu M9 in China.

I saw this last night at around 1-2AM I think... Anyway, the massive crowds definitely surprised me. I mean, I expected a lot of people, but this many!? Definitely shows how big a following Meizu has. Also surprising is that this marks the first -completely positive- post in Engadget regarding Meizu. They even mentioned the "Mei Yo" name for Meizu fans. I seriously can't wait to get one. ...To bad I have to spend the money I had saved to get an M9 to pay for college applications.

Nice to see so many people going to buy the M9!

I hope Meizu will have more success then ever with the M9: The videos on YouTube etc. impressed me really and I hope now there are more people buying this mobile phone 'cause of Android and Meizus nice "decoration"/changes on the UI.

I commented on that article under the name Vito. Many people agreed with me that the M9 is a quality device.

The positive comments on Engadget are very encouraging. It's enough to help you wipe the vomit from your mouth after reading some negative comments made by Apple fans with absolutely no basis.

Over 400 comments so far; that has to be a record for a Meizu post on Engadget. If nothing else, Engadget has probably recognized by now that posting Meizu news is great for driving eyeballs to their site.

Wow, I knew Meizu is popular but I didn't know its fanbase has grown so much.
