It's not really a surprise J. Wong posting pictures of upcoming devices very early and this time it's the same story. Here's a picture of the second version of M9 named M9II with a 4" screen and what appears to be a front facing camera. He said it's due for release sometime next year, but the hardware specifications are unknown as of yet (it would probably change anyway as time passing by). Size should be 64(W) x 118 (H) x 9,5 (D) mm or less.
Some new details on the M9 too:
JW commented it won't be able to run the standard Android system but only their customized version. Luckily the apps would still be compatible with their custom UI so in theory it will be able to run any apps downloaded from the Android Market.
He also promised Meizu stores would get 1000 devices for in-store demo early October, so there's still hope for release this year.
Full picture is after the break!
Update: Added picture of the side and the back of the device!Last edited by nice2know_u; 09-23-2010 at 10:24 PM.

I am very exited about the custom Android version. I love the current Android 2.2 running on M8s and there're some really cool interactionable elements in the UI. I hope there'll be some kind of interface preview like with the M8 (the huge M8 board with the prototype of the touchscreen on top, remember?).
Also I barely can stand to hold one in my hand. BUT I will NOT wait 3 Years again to get the M9. The Meizu company does really good work but their image is not really extraordinary positive. Maybe it's just the european opinion ...
EDIT: And maybe it's the chineese way of the global competition to announce "successes" in their economy and development branches, but - as you experienced with the M8 - the truth behind such announcements isn't always that "successful"...Last edited by MEDV; 09-01-2010 at 07:07 PM.

True true ... i will
And i'd buy a M9 even if i've already bought another phone. Meizu 4 live :D
Edit: M8 just dropped an now my headphone jack is broken ... no more sound and the phone thinks that there're always some headphones plugged in -> no more sound out of speakers, fuck that!
So Meizu better hurries up, i need a new phone :D

I want it now! I recently sold my M8 in wait for the M9. Now I'm using some old Nokia which is really lousy. Because of this I will be even more happy when my M9 arrives
