it´s nearly a perfect match from the galaxy S, there is no denial Meizu copies a lot from other companies.

unfortunately that´s true.

it is based on android which has requirements so either it looks like the droid or it looks like non-android, that is iphone. all pcs look similar because they all run windows; doesn't make all pcs equal

If meizu moves there current ui to android it wont be a standard Android, it would be a small breaktrough on android ui design.

nope, I have been trying to find out something for weeks, but nothing.. Only rumors, and friend was told at Meizu shop, that they are planing to release it at the end of october

Meizu is still taking the way of apple design

^ Everyone is learning for Apple these days. For example, the designers of HP Envy clearly took inspiration from the MacBook Pro.

Haha, I guess Meizu was ahead of the game when they started looking at Apple for design inspiration for the M6.

anyway, the most interesting design job on phones during recent years were made by Emblaze team...I just love the way they created that phone, with extra LED screen for battery and clock, and touch sensors on the side of the phone But it is pity, that Emblaze closed that project before even releas... That could have been something really different from all other stuff on market

First Else will never released. The project was dropped.
By the way, i hope Meizu M9 come with multi language and better support, especially in developing apps for everyone, not only for chineese people. I think that Meizu could become a very popular cell phone manufacturer.

I use your Photo and resize the Image in Gimp.
Take a look to the buttons. For me not a real device just a photoshop picture.

Exactly why do you think those are fake? from what i can tell from your picture it looks pretty normal..

As i wrote i checked it out, here is what i get from pulling up the gain using levels in gimp:



The noise around the menu button does seem a little excessive considering its just white against black. Of course this could be explained but light bleeding through whatever plastic might be around the contours of the button.

Does look a bit fishy though, gimps level-algorithms are usually good, that noise didnt come from nowhere.

Please open the picture in gimp and zoom up to 2000% you will see that the noise borders are very rectangular.
You have the same effect when you place an icon over some other background.

J.Wong released a new picture, but I don't know if it's the first version of the m9 or the second (with 4 inch). For me it sounds like the second version, also because of the front camera.

hm... dont know why, but materials looks just same as the cheap Chinese smartphone I already have :/ I mean in those REAl M9 photos
