Thanked 72 Times in 49 Postshey... talking about iphones "design" its just a simple bar... There is nothing to copy
long ago before iphone I had headphones, looke almost same
and lastly I dont really care about its design, as far as it looks cool
And about internal memmory, so at my point of view it would be best to keep internal but about 2Gb and add external slot

I think it's great that a company finally starts thinking about how to lower a products price by removing and modding things that may be unnecessary, without reducing its performance!
Almost everybody has a MicroSD card and headphones. If not, just buy them. Almost all costumers are going to save some money. Some may loose 5 dollars... (they reduce the price with, lets say 20 dollars, you buy a headphone and microSD card. 10+15 dollars. You pay 5 dollars more)
I LOVE MEIZU! (Still no Meizu product owned by me... Damn... If I kill my iPhone... Will my parents buy me a Meizu, or will they get mad and give me a Nokia 3310?)

Thanked 2 Times in 2 PostsFirstly, Meizu need to make sure ALL bugs are 100000% working and fixed even BEFORE they decide to release the M9..
Secondly, i agree with some users, the MicroSd is an excellant idea, i have a 8GB but would love to upgrade to 16GB
Thirdly, it is pathetic to sell a mobile phone without accesories, even if you use the the handsfree or not, that is just pathetic selling the phone with no handsfree.. Just another way for Meizu to make more money..
" Hello car dealer, i want to buy this vehicle without side mirrors as i dont use them "..
Get real Meizu.. start making phones that are BUG FREE and work instead of releasing " offical firmwares" that are still Beta Tests, and dont jip us from accesories.. SHAME

I don't think your complaint about the accessoires is very fair. Of course they need ways to make money, but they are not Apple or Nokia and can therefore not sell their phones for ridiculous amounts of money. They probably try to make the phone as cheap as possible in order to maximize the potential number of clients.
So your comparing the M8 to a car and its side mirrors kinda fails. The headphones are an option, not a vital and legally required part of the phone. It's more like "Hello car dealer, I want to buy this vehicle but without the a/c as I don't use them..." :-)

Thanked 2 Times in 2 PostsIt doesnt matter if the phone costs $20 or $1000, all mobiles that i know of are sold with headphones.. Meizu is just trying to make more money and that is totally unfair.. Maybe you dont use your headphones, maybe you do.. But when you purchase a mobile phone dont you ask what accesories does it come with ?? - i always do.. I use the headphones daily, and to be honest i wouldnt pay Meizu $1 for them, not because money is an issue, but for the simple fact that ALL their FW's are Beta Testers, and i an NOT happy with their company at all.. If a client is happy they wouldnt mind paying extra for accesories..
Meizu owes it to us consumers to give something back from ALL their failed attempts to make this mobile phone.. Not request more money..

I still thinks it's smart by Meizu. They save money, you save money. No unnecessary things have to be manufactured etc.
Almost everybody has headphones at home. If you don't, just go to a store and buy one. Many saves 10$, some people loose 10$, Meizu saves millions of $$$!

Thanked 50 Times in 30 PostsNo, Meizu doesn't "owe" us anything. And since when is it unfair for company to make money? Apple charges more for an iPad with 3G than for an iPad witch just Wi-Fi, is this unfair? When we bought the M8, we all knew what kind of phone it was, so just because you have problems with your FW they should include the headphones? No.
See, you are not a happy customer, so why should you even bother buying an M9? If you are not happy, adding or not adding headphones will not make a difference to you. I am a happy customer, and I don't care about headphones. If the phone is good, I will (probably) buy it, with or without headphones.

Thanked 189 Times in 130 Postsjerrytsitas,
you must be forgetting that the M8 series never got officially launched outside China. So you got a grey import and can磘 be expecting anything from meizu at this moment.
I know this is not what you would like to hear, but it磗 the truth & somehow most people do gorget this..
Just like many others i have no issue with not getting them (earphones) & beeing honest since i got the M8 i never ever used the earphones, they are still packaged in there original plastics
Like i mentionned before; for me they can leave additional buttons like sound/power from their new design cause it also will save money during the productions. But then there is just 1 claim from me : add all "normal" smartphone options like gps, 3g, tv out,.. if not then it might be a fail for us non chinese people standards?
depending of the new options it might be that i buy one (wcdma) when it comes out! Happy customer from meizu ..If the phone is good, I will (probably) buy it, with or without headphones.
(not always been this way; but it evoluted in the good direction)

Thanked 173 Times in 72 PostsAlthough it's fake, i think it looks really good.
Kind of because it looks like an M8.
Since jack promised us hdmi output, i don't think we would have the standard 10 pin usb port like in the picture...Ben je Nederlands?
