Thanked 269 Times in 146 Postsmenu is in english, right..and english is an important language in the asian market too, which includes thailan..korea..japan..and so on.
I do not believe, that the english menu exists because of Europe, or US....
Just imagine Meizu whitout this, or the russian forum...Hardly noone would know it outside the asian market, and noone would be interested!!
But I may be wrong...

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsAbout the english: What the f... is this supposed to mean?
"If there are incoming call in the glare, not light up the screen, please set a low sensitivity; if there is a receiving a call, and"
And thats all there is... This is under "Inforared Detect Sensor" settings.
Got my phone a couple of days ago, and i didn't think the enlish would be that bad... :P
edit:
But very nice new GUI! I like it!
But what is the middle button at the bottom in home screen for? The one between phone and messages. Looks like a wierd clock...Last edited by jale; 07-03-2009 at 10:45 PM.

Thanked 14 Times in 10 Postsits a winner, or sure looks like it, the inclusion of the weather app, and probably in english as well, is great, although we will have to wait to see if they have included the right cities. Also, is the side scrolling multiple desktop feature still in use, or has that been changed, too? without it, the meizu m8 can hardly be called an iPhone clone, ever again!

Thanked 173 Times in 72 PostsMeizu is getting better and better by the day.
If they keep up the good work, and maybe ask some translations from ENGLISH people, like us
, then the M8 would be even more awesome!
I just hope that these pictures aren't made by some Meizu fanboy.
And: maybe j.wong sent the pictures to entertain us.....(and keeping us happy
)
But: This is looking really nice, so if Meizu realises this new skin, i would be very happy

hmmm, I am not sure weather this UI looks any better than the current UI tbh although it is nice. The new clock icon is crisp but I can't help thinking the others are lacking a bit. The reflective Web 2.0 style is my preference but all the others apart from the clock and the camera ones seem a little flat and boring IMO.
On the plus side however it is nice to see Meizu moving away from an 'applesque' interface. If they do ever decide to market the M8/9 internationally this will definitely help to shake the 'clone' stigma.
I would say that with these changes the M8 Ui looks as similar to the iphone as any Samsung or LG symbian S60 based device.
Finders crossed that with this UI revamp we will see a 1.0 FW and a load of fixes too.Last edited by sere83; 07-06-2009 at 06:22 PM.
