If you look at the epic amount of modifications for the HTC Hero, you can see that it's highly modifiable.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsThe screenshots on the first page are released by J.Wong, they are true, but the others are fake.
J.wong said, the new UI ,still based on wince, will be available in the mid of September.
The other OS based on Android is just a plan,he didn't give us a schedule. He just said that he could ask for more from Microsoft if he had an android one.

hmmmm, still not 100% sure but the new UI is definitely growing on me, looks very clean must look really nice on the 720x480 display.
I have to admit after seeing the HTC Hero and just recently Creatives Zii it does appear that as people have mentioned android is showing a whole lot more potential when customised, would be interesting to see a build of android customized for the M8.
However, I think that Meizu have invested a lot of time and money in their own platform so it would be good to see it reach it's full potential. Although in terms of appealing to a wider audience and for app support though android would certainly be a better option and is sure to grow more and more in popularity.
I'm just hoping Meizu can fix most of the fundemental bugs/issues like the sms issue with country codes etc and get out a solid 1.0 FW with the new Ui by september. If they can manage it I may still consider getting an M8 as the price offline is still very attractive as compared to similar devices.Last edited by sere83; 07-30-2009 at 09:31 PM.

To be frank, the Android looks to be more of a rumor than a reality, J. Wong said and i quote:
"Android might be a possibility in the future"
So i doubt that there is a official team working on porting Android to the M8.
Remember that we have our own local Android squad on the case, so given a bit of time, it will come around
After my M8 broke, i did buy a HTC Magic, and i must say that Android is a new breath of air in the mobile industry, but come a few weeks of usage, i did long for the M8.
All in all, Android is great but i prefer the old and tried Wince6 M8 system, and i am looking forward to getting my M8 repaired and trying 1.0

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI'm sorry if this is old, but have you guys seen this video?!
YouTube - New Meizu M8 UI Demo
Is this fake?
If it's real, look pretty cool. I don't think it's fake, cause the screenshots in this thread matches the video if you pay attention.
