I heard from Chinese users that maybe the new FW may come on October 1st (along with an M8 Special Edition), because this is a Chinese holiday. After that there will be a holiday for about one week, so there won't be any new FW.
As always, these are rumours.

@evow04:

Hehe,
i know but beeing honest if they claim to have optimized the signal reception it means new hardware.
New hardware means better performance and other software updates for this device only if they dont do that it would mean more rubish firmware.

Thanks btw, it is my little kitten in meantime he became bigger, but the picture is soooo cute ;-)

As far as I know M8SE has a WAPI chip (WIFI compatible), and the rest should be the same. Maybe some change in the signal area...

Official pics look great thanks demon heart for upload.

Please be a little bit more optimistic people. YEAH JW can never hit deadlines but he surely will bring it out before the end of the year at least *finger's crossed*. I'm sure we are not going to have to wait 2 years for it like the M8 itself

No, reception is fine in europe.

There are just some people confused about the "se" abbreviation.

I also have great reception, so must be hardware problem combined with location, i have full reception almost all the time.
We need to wait and see how the M8SE will develop....
