Meizu M8 interface getting completely redone

It looks like they created their own known off of Android. They could just use Android on their phones its free, and probably easier then designing your own phone interface.

I wonder how we will surprise the final version of the FW 1.0.
I have to admit that it is gray, but if it's the concrete changes we need to reckon with this.
The concept of the Android OS is very interesting.

I am quite happy to have a redesigned GUI, and the tabs look great to me.

Hope its available soon though, the way Meizu takes time to do things, this UI will probably only be available on the M9.

Still waiting for the English SDK so i wont hold my breath.

Hi everyone, i got a noob question, Will us current owners of m8's get to use or download this new UI when its out? ^^ regards~

when it's finished it'll probably be in a fw update

any update on an actual release date yet?

Apparently it will be out with firmware v1.0 which was is meant to be released in September I believe

Nope, completely lost faith in their time management skills. Apparently they don't seem to have any.

Dont hold your breath for this either, it IS September by the way, almost October, this was supposed to be released in August???????

Jack Wong should get a new calendar, obviously the one he uses is seriously behind.......

But I think we have to wait. Last firmware is 0.9.3.4 so there is a long road to reach the 1.0. I bet on 2010 (if Jack Wong read that, please prove me I'm wrong ).
