Touchpal for Meizu M8

It's the chinese version so it's free

some help´s needed...

could someone explain me please how to install TP...step by step...and for some reason the german version?!

what parts do i need to download and so on...

- Download the cab installer from rori's link (post #9)
- Install it
- Follow the instructions from post #16 to install skin
- Follow the instructions from post #18 to install the translated version
- Restart your phone
- Start M8Sprite and change the input method to TouchPal

Ive downloaded the 3.69mb version from m8fans.com. It installs fine and I can use it. After I replace the dll with the one from post 18, it gives me an error when I try to start it, something like keyboard failed to load. Not sure whats going on. Any help?

Anyone got a cab with the english dll already?

Hold on, I didnt install the skin from post 16, is that necissary?

Copy touchpal.dll in Program Files\Touchpal again after you restarted your phone. If it's still not working, than you have to do a registry reset...sometimes M8 starts acting crazy and doesn't let you change the input method. Skin is not necessary.

Wow I really think this will be the most important App on my Meizu. Just installed it and I like it a lot.
Maybe this should be moved to the Application Section.

All these steps condensed into one step --> Meizu Me - Downloads - Touchpal 4.0 for Meizu M8 Beta

I am unable to send a text message using Touchpal. It seems to cover up the send button. Can anyone tell me how to make the keyboard disappear so that a text message can be sent?

I installed the version from this forum, downloaded te german Dict from cootek and installed it. But how can I switch from english input to german input?

Press the first button on the top toolbar.

i think it is no useful for me .A4 Input method is enough 。MEIZU is a great company，have an M8 is a very easy in CN.haha

Argh! i get the same problem as finger kb. is there a specific place i have to put it? i put mine in Games, i put all my .cab files there. does that matter?

start writing a new note or an sms. If you see the Touchpal Keyboard click on the "abc-icon" on the upper left side and switch to german.

I read that this version won´t work in opera...it works for me even in landscape mode?!? What is with your phones?

I´m actually on fw 0.9.0.5 (official)

Fishdog, if you read the whole topic you'll have the solution for the "covers the send button" problem.

Works flawlessly for me, thank you for the great keyboard, is more user friendly for my fingers
