Meizu M8 firmware 0.9.0.5 officially released!
A few hours ago the Meizu engineers released the latest firmware for the M8, version 0.9.0.5.

The most visible changes are in the overhauled camera and automatic lyric download function.

just checked the camera overhaul, and i think it gets the thumbs up
does the lyric download have to have an internet connection?

If they are offline, why will they then need to be "attained"? If already taking up the space, why not already installed by default? Logic! Come on...

lyrics download is fantastic, but it searchs only it title, 4example: i listened 'Let it be' from Groove Coverage, and it downloaded the Beatles 'Let it be', then i find manually the G.C. lyric.

How do you contribute to the database? I have some .lzh files I'd like to upload...

is it a must to upgrade to thi new firmware? just got my m8 today.

do i have to just download the file and install it? any other things to do or keep in mind when upgrading the firmware?

i don't want my phone to get messed up if i do the upgrading wrongly.

it's very easy an you should do it

put file on disc folder and start m8 via power+music-button

i's good to do a reset before: start m8 via M+Power
