Meizu M8 white version out May 1

Could this be the official white Meizu M8?

One of the Meizu dealers just announced they will get a shipment of white M8s and start selling them as of May 1. Whether these units have WiFi chips or not is still unconfirmed. It's also unsure if the front panel remains black or that will be white too.

M8 will only available with a white backcover, but yes you can order that. But it makes no sense as the new antenna is still not ready. So better wait 2 or 3 month and you will get a better phone. I also can tell you the website for a international version in some days after it is confirmed. But to avoid rumors, that international version will not be available before october 09.

Website for international version? What are you talking about? Avoid rumors...at this point what you just said is still a rumor, unless you have a source for that info (I mean something we can see).

The white looks very nice indeed, took them long enough to do it though. Is the 16gig model out already?

I remember some one of the forum mentioning that Meizu were still producing 'test' versions on the 'hush hush'. Any one spotted a 16gb wifi version yet?

Too much 'inspiration' from Apple on this one IMHO. The front should've been white as Rabsi wrote, or at least a shade of gray - no need to follow Apple's every design move...

come to think about it, the white-back creates a bit of a clash... :S

you can buy back and front covers from ebay too, so theres no need to buy the white version.

aaronbsc, I think those are of very low quality. I saw someone posted pictures of a cracked white shell after just 2 days of usage. Also it's strange to me that you can buy white front covers, they must be full of plastic, and not glass.

I actually never owned one myself but i think youre right...especially if it comes to the front covers.
