And who want to buy that in china? Some fans, yeah! But still I don´t know any chinese who want to buy a Meizu phone. Still they all love Nokia and the iPhone. It is like it is, as crazy it sounds. Today I asked members of my company. They all work in the IT sector, but non of them relized that ther es a M8 phone on market. Poor work from the Meizu marketing and on the other hand, maybe Error will agree, still chinese people think that their own brands are low quality.

load a b****cks, that. A survey in 2006 suggested that more chinese liked Meizu M6 over the iPod Nano, so its completely untrue. and the title of this thread says it all, they appeared on CCTV!

Although it was only briefly mentioned, still a great leap for Meizu getting CCTV's attention as a contender!

This doesn't jive with my experience. My findings agree with the previous poster, that most local Chinese use the foreign brands of mobile phones, especially Nokia. It might be different for music players, or maybe the anti-iTunes factor may be at play. Only migrant workers and ayi's use local Chinese mobile phones, and even they often would rather have a second-hand/hot-goods foreign brand than a local one.

Not much of an appearence, being just a simple distorted photo and a brief sentence. But great for Meizu anyway.

Maybe if Meizu spent a little more money in marketing...

yh, my dad was telling me about the lack of advertising, saying that now that it was out he thought he should at least see a sign of it in shanghai. none whatsoever
