Seeing the last photo we can assume that the battery is removable. That's a good thing.

I wonder if they will have any issues with the name when Venzero is using the same miniONE for the dap player Venzero miniONE

Q4 2007? I was hoping for an earlier release. I guess as they say:

We'll see how the pricing goes for this, in comparison for the Apple IPhone, as well as the specs :P I have a feeling that Meizu will win this battle once again, like it did with M6 and the IPod Videos

I was initially going to comment about how similar it is to the iphone...but then I think...That arguement is quite stupid...
Look at the market already, you see so many razr clones, if the same amount of bullcrap that was with meizu and apple then it would be unbearable.

Yeah it is similar, but it happens in all industries all the time so what it comes down to is which product is better when using it, and I will await the reviews of both products with great anticipation.

Does this have any kind of hint at a release date? considering its running windows mobile edition (hopefully 6), then it is only a matter of making the hardware work with the OS and mass producing.

Another thing, since the iPhone comes out in Australia in 2008, hopefully this comes out before then, it may make it more tempting. Also make it much better when penetrating the market...Only America gets it in June...The rest of the world gets it later...So if Meizu is able to get a carrier and placed in areas not in the US between those two times then the success of the miniONE should increase dramatically

Release date according to Meizu is Q4 2007 so I'd expect it in time for Christmas and probably no earlier.

Spec at this time is dual band - they'll really need to change that.

No GPS at this time - hope they add that.

ARM processor should support full frame rates, so most likely we'll not need to do video conversions

Windows Mobile 6 supports album art and playlists etc so this is good.

Still appears to have front and back camera (0.3mp front 2mp rear) so video conferencing and photography are catered for - cool.

I've asked this in another thread, but I must ask again: compatibility with US carriers? Pop in a SIM card and go?

I'll gladly wait a couple of months (or a year) for this. I know, and trust, Meizu's build quality and I'd buy this over any other Cellphone.
