Obviously you have never stood in line for anything since you do not diferentiate between USSR and Russia, nor have the basic understanding of what people stood in line for, nor the fact "pick a meaning, any meaning" would not apply, not that I'm sure what you mean by this "meaning".
There is nothing that is cheap nor affordable in Russia of today, everything is expensive even on an international scale, Moscow is one of the most expensive cities to live in today in the world. The Russians today buy some 3/4 of the annual production of the most expensive MB SUV there is the G-wagen that is in the $100k price range!
In today's Russia there is a more extreme capitalism at work than any of the western hemisphere countries.

Exactly and the Russian consumer of today demand the VERY BEST.

Never did I say that something used to be cheap in Russia, you need to get your hisotry and geography clear

ANYONE who would've stood in line as you mentioned above who recieved all the way to university education without any cost, would have no issues with knowing these things

Again you don't even know how the socialistic system works do you, since you talk about profits just as any other capitalisitc point of view, you have missed the fundamentals of this "non-capitalistic" system as you refer to it as.

The largest capitalistic nation today really lacks products that have true quality. It appears you have something confused when you talk about artifically low prices as a matter of fact the largest nation with capitalism has quite a few such artificial low prices both on products and on such energy as gasoline, do your research and you will figure out why and how that is.
