DVB-H is the standard for mobile digital TV, it's the mobile version of DVB for home use.
You can watch TV broadcasts while on the move, with extreme quality..
That would sure be a beutiful feature.Last edited by Unregistered; 11-05-2007 at 10:05 AM.

Multitouch
A bit off topic, but Microsoft uses multitouch is their upcoming "media table" and I seriously doubt that they intend to pay license fees to Apple, so some technology must be available on the market.

gosh!!!... Indeed is an awesome feature... tante gracie Antonio!!
I can imagine watching a football game in my M8 with its wrist adapter.
Concerning the black monolith of 2001... I read in "Cyberautobiography" by HAL, that the orange squeeze and the black phone were inside the "Giant Black" as it call it. [on footnote... the description of the phone was suspicious similar to iPhone... HAL is in risk of be sued by Apple]

Talking about cameras:
I've seen pics taken on the iPhone that look great and some of the best I've seen, even in low light. I doubt there are many phones that could or will match that anytime soon including the MiniOne.
About waiting:
I think this phone will be great, just hate the wait. I'll pick up another "clone" in the mean time for about $180 (I've seen some around $150) and see if the M8 is any good a few months after it comes along. Some clones at --- http://iphone.lightinthebox.com/346/...FQaAgwod7zZ5YA.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsNot really a good idea for Italy ( http://punto-informatico.it/p.aspx?i=2031027 ) ..I suppose you're italian, right?
In short, it says RAI will move towards T-DMB, instead of DVB-H.
Moreover, in Germany, T-Systems will start the build-out in early 2008, with the expectation to have the 90 percent of the populace getting covered by 2015 (!!!)
I hope I'll buy another phone by then :D
...However, I really like the M8 in black!

yes I'm italian

I've read about the DVB-T... it's weird, it's an older format, and only RAI will switch to it from DVB-H, wich IMO is a better format...
Sure MEIZU can't produce a DVB-H tuner chip just for the Italian market,
though it woudln't be hard to have a chip reading both H and T streams.
Ultimately, Digital TV in cellphones has been limited in sales, guess what,
by tiny displays. The M8 will have a huge display.. and that would let you enjoy anything visual..

I wouldn't be surprised to see some kind of digital tv reciever in the m8. Whether it will be DVB-T or DVB-H or whatever is another question. It would most likley be chinas own digital standard which is known as DMB-T/H. Im in the UK and if this had DVB-T it would be unbelievable, I doubt it will though. Saying that though the soon to be released Cowon Q5 which is based on wndows CE architecture (5.0 not 6.0) is said to have DVB-T while the korean models have DMB. So in theory it could be possible.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsWow...you know that in prevision of 2015? :D
You know I was just joking, in answer to DaremoS, don't ya?
Me too
What I'm talking about is T-DMB, however yes, it's less advanced than DVB-H, but it's completely free since it doesn't allow authentication (which is good imho), it should cost 40 times less, and cover half of the populate for the end of December (ok we're in Italy, so I don't really hope they'll be so fast!)...in short I think that maybe they're not doing such a bad thing!

Thanked 1 Time in 1 Postyep
Apple did not patent multitouch, in fact they can't since the hardware isn't invented by them.
And multitouch is actually quite old, so Apple patented multitouch gestures instead and/or patent implementations of multitouch but not the multitouch itself. Like using multitouch for vending machines(already implemented, no idea if it is patented) or multitouch for TV so you can share half the screen with your siblings or multitouch your microwave oven so you can do some gestures like pinching sets the timer for pizza XD
So one can actually use a multitouch screen and not do much cause apple patented multitouch gestures >.<
Here are some things you can implement even without multitouch

Note: HTC Touch keyboard fails
Some interfaces isn't meant for thumb usage (It is a windows mobile)Last edited by kagnon; 11-07-2007 at 03:12 AM.

Thanks Kagnon for let me see this nice video... HTC is interesting and seems to work fine... this is my first approach to this monster machines.
This is just for general culture because I already have a PDA and I'm more in MP4 stuff, I mean more on music n' videos than browsing the net and keeping my contacts in my MP4, even less in taking photos or videos with the camera as I already have a digital camera.
HTC also makes cell phones calls really? well I do have a cell phone already
What really impressed me that all this technologies than have been in the market for a while in cell phones and PDAs, like touch flow, multi touch or whatever is that all of this... is claimed by Apple as its properties !!!
And that iPhone fans that watched the video are insulting HTC calling it crap or whatever in order to show how big is their device
Indeed is iPhone the king of all cell phones, PDAs, MP4, web navigators , etc etc etc ???
