Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsNot sure exactly what you are trying to say or ask, but if you have "NO IDEA" then perhaps you can spend some time of reading up on the technical aspects of what BT is and what it's not:
http://www.bluetooth.com/Bluetooth/L...pecifications/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bluetooth
I don't know what type of BT product you are using that's causing you "pain in the backside" but again you might want to learn the difference between a communication std and the drivers that make a specific device communicate with this std. The things you are talking about has nothing to do with th std as such but drivers that various companies develop for it, just like there are quite poor GSM phones out there doesn't mean the std is.
You might also want to inform the 7000+ companies that utilize BT in their services/products how you feel about this:
http://www.bluetooth.com/bluetooth/
Just because you don't know how to use a product this doesn't mean that its not a fully functional product/std, your comments in fact merly reveal your level off knowhow on the subject, or lack thereof, each one can draw their own conclusions...
Could you please repeat this in ENGLISH please?
Well trust me I never thought you were
But not much chance of you getting any "written legal proof" then :D

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsWell what you said is and I quote (in black and white
)
So if we put it into math you said 'iPhone=PDA' and 'Apple didn't invent the iPhone (=PDA)'
what part is not your words from the quote?
P.S. What is "newtion" you aren't typing on an iPhone are you LOL :P
Who is this one MAN and one WOMAN you are talking about?
I don't know what ppl you hang out with but I've never met this "man/woman" you are refering to that is of the preception that Apple "invented all things MP3 and mobile"
With a statement like this it's very confusing how/why you call yourself a geek, also it's somewhat puzzeling as to why you even read/post on this forum that is all about these bricks that are too large and heavy for you to handle, not to mention what device you (if any) are able to carry along with you? The fact that you play basketball(??) with your gadgets and thereby need to protect them in "briefcases" really has nothing to do with the size of the actual product, most iPhone users I see do not carry any briefcases nor large cases, as a matter of fact I haven't even seen any large cases for the iPhone!
P.S. How is your pokemon card collection coming along?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsHave owned most types and models, currenltly still having my Dell x51v until SOMETHING comes out that beats or even MEETS it in ANY way, processor speed, VGA screen, screen size. I don't use it on a daily basis for that I have the OQO 02 but it serves it specific purpose regularly.

Your PDA play music, videos and has another lots of functions... isn't so?... the only missed function is to do cell phone calls... surely you have a cell phone too.
I also have both... and I used both in the proper place... I wouldn't want to be interrupted in the middle of a sonata or a clip by a cell phone call
I really don't understand all this scandal about iPhone and all its similar devices as if they were the "wonder of the year"
Sorry if a spoil the party folks... but another device of US$ 600 for have the same functionality is a bit out of my range.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsYes but no WWAN, which is why I am currently using the OQO 02 with 3G access, like the full XP but the battery time is a dwnside. Also no PDA or Smartphone has 3.8-4" screens with the functions I'd want, well actually there is ONE device that would be very nice but isn't possible for use outside Japan:
http://www.pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=725
Wouldn't mind having ONE device, as my phone already has qwerty keyboard and constant internet online (yes no reloging on, its contsantly online with internet and AIM, Yahoo and MSN messengers and the web)
The iPhone is $399.99 for 8GB version...
Not directly related but maybe worth watching?

Thanks ecsk2 for the cool link... in that page that are lots of gadgets to make happy any geek... also for the video... impressive device!!
Too impressive for a guy that only wants a cool player that do nicely its work. IMHO to add non related extra functions to my lovely Meizu & Teclast is just a waste of time and money... maybe the big screen and millions of colours could worth and extra investment... but to add a cell PHONE!!! or Internet connection!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D
Come on guys!!! I wont lose my target so easily... when I watch a video or listen music I simply enjoy images and sounds... I just don't want to be bothered with commercial activities.
PD.: Just the idea of pay Microsoft for a licence of Windows Mobile make me throw out!!Last edited by DaremoS; 09-21-2007 at 11:56 PM.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsThe layout of the Qwerty keypad isn't that bad. I pretended to use it on screen and I didn't find it difficult to use at all. I would say that most people using a touch screen phone would be looking at the screen as they type, using only 1 finger.
Having bigger 'keys' would be appreciated greater than the slight inconvenience of repositioned letters, as it takes only a few moments to get used to where the keys are, but it would become frustratingly annoying if you kept pressing keys that you didn't want, because the keys were a lot smaller in size so they could fit the standard qwerty keyboard layout.
A major gripe people have with the iphone is that the keys are so small, and Apple knows this, that's why they say to trust their spelling correction software to figure out what you were trying to type, because they know that the keys are too small.
Just my 2 cents.War must cease or all life ceases. Live in peace or die in pieces.
