Meizu M8 is One Step Closer

Three new photos (real, with Nikon D50 tags) of a new Meizu M8 phone prototype reflecting the latest changes were posted earlier on the Chinese Meizu BBS today by CEO Mr. J Wong.

In another posting, he was found re-estimating the price to be 2380 and 2880 CNY (approx. $315 and $380 USD) for the 4GB and 8GB models respectively. He also confirmed that the units will be ready before 2008.

Continue to 08\08\07 M8 Update for more pictures and discussion.

    3rd party not 30 party :D

Anyway they will need to be in the WinCE format not in the WinMob format as currently is available.

Just out of curiosity, am I right about Apple owning the patent to multi touch?

What do you mean by Pocket PC software? PPC software sounds like 3rd party software, are you talking about the Windows Mobile OPERATING SYSTEM?

I dont think multi-touch is that big of a deal, as long as theres some method of moving pictures and enlarging them lol (unless you're all after wow factors with your mates)

Any word on the battery life? I read that the iphone has abyssmal battery life in "phone" mode ~8 hours? Thats simply insufficient, wont even get anyone through the day without them carrying a charger.

I agree with Blackstar, it'll get old pretty soon... I thought the battery on the iPhone was quite good? Some reviews said it clocked around 8 hours or so for video... moreover calls... unless I read wrong?

True, but if Apple really does own the patent they could license it. Yeah that Microsoft Surface thing is pretty sweet.
