Meizu M8 is One Step Closer

I guess my question is, will this device run the software applications that i also run on a pocket pc (Windows Mobile 2005)? I'm sorry, yes the 3rd party applications.

I think it can be imported when it's released in the USA or China

Well that's not so sure, as most WinCE prgs out there are made for the "oldschool" HPC and alike products, not the same WinCE at all, it's like comparing programs designed for Win 3.11 and Vista.

If anything it would be the other way around since Europe shares the GSM network with Asia, unlike North America.

I'm jumping in rather late but that just means I've less time to wait. But I'm in the land of the not-so-free, the fat and the self-indulgent... yes I'm in the U.S.A.

But I would love to stick it to iPhone and Steve Nobbs. And besides... this phone just looks far superior.

ANY OFFICIAL U.S. release date or even an unlocked worldwide english lang edition??

No news on international release dates. Not even a release date is set for China, where it will be released first. However, we could expect it to be about end of 2007 start of 2008.
