Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsWell if someone calls out to his God as he did I can only assume they have some type of respect and interest in God, whereby it is interesting to see the idiot name calling right after.
I'm confused, You state "my God" but indicate that you do act in opposite of what your God teaches? This seems to be highly contradictional.
For the record my words were: "call strangers idiots" NOT "call everyone idiots" as you indicated.Last edited by ecsk2; 08-07-2007 at 09:24 PM.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsCorrect everyone sins, but there is a BIG difference between on sining on occassion due to imperfection and ''doing sin'' so to speak on an active basis which your comment "I call..'' would be refering to.
But yes there is one god (already pointed out above) that teaches that you can do whatever you want and that ''believing'' is all you need to do and your fine (kind of reflected by the comments in this thread).
Anyway now back to our regularly scheduled program MEIZU M8

It might be a cry of desperation!
I really want this phone, and yes I have read EVERY Post!
The price point / Release Date / and Overall info on this phone are lacking!
Surely Meizu does not wish to charge $500+ for the same thing the Iphone has out now for $350 right?
Pictures of the supposed gui does me little good if you still don't have a product.
There are so many people on here that want info and are ready to buy yet can't get any good info!
Thats all I ask for is a real price/date/where can I get it/will it work on my system.
PLEASE!

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsA cry indeed....
It seems you've misunderstood something, Meizu and all other companies are companies out there to make money they're not a non profit organization trying to make the best gadgets possible. Having said that you really can't compare the iPhone and the M8 as they have too many differences to even be compared, a couple obvious things is the screen, which frankly on the iPhone (despite great results) has VERY low resolution (HVGA) thereby a lot cheaper. Also keep in mind that with the M8 using the WinCE they have to deal with MS on that in many forms and fashions which is also a cost, whereas the iPhone is using "inhouse" OS for good and bad (if you want).
Just to keep the fact straight, there's no way you can refer to the M8 and the iPhone as the "same thing" nor does the iPhone cost $350 it's $399.99 + sales tax, and was $599.99 and the price was lowered mainly to meet the 1.000.000 sold target they had set.

Actually, Your wrong on the price.
The IPhone (refurb full factory 1 yr Warr.) can be had at $349.99 plus tax on the Apple site, and if you have their 30 off $300 coupon which you get after signing up on their site for emails it lowers to $319.99 + tax.
Look on their store site under Refurb / Deals, bottom right hand side of the screen.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsYou gotta remember, iPhone requires a contract with AT&T/Cingular (unless they've finally manage to hack it).
Don't know about you, but I'd rather have the freedom to choose my provider.

Where have you been man? This thing has been hacked for a while now.
Also you don't have to sign a contract to by one from Apple. That is an incorrect belief. You can use the hacked version on any GSM now, at least stateside (T-mobile, Al-Tel, others) People have been using them on those networks for almost two months now. The only difference is you can't use the flip thru voicemail program as that is ATT specific.
So again if you can get it cheap as some have it is worth it I guess. Apple just had some refurb 4gb that people were buying for $269 with those $30 off coupons. So again if your not willing to wait $270 is not a whole lot in cosideration. I need one for CDMA use and because of that I am screwed since nobody has anything close yet. The HTC Touch is out this week but I already tried the mogul and returned it due to it's flaws and major suckage.
Anyway until Meizu delivers theirs I will keep holding on.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsLet's see .... you are saying that Apple is selling their iPhones in the hacked version? And cheaper? So you can use it with any mobile phone contractor?
:D :D :D
This is totally wrong. You can only buy iPhones from Apple with an AT&T contract. http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPL.../family/iphone These 2 years contracts start at 60$/month. (in two years with the cheapest contract and no extra minutes and text messages: 1400$. With the most expensive contract (100$/month) that will be 2400$)
You have to pay with your credit card/debit card. Cash is NOT allowed any more. You can only buy two iPhones (last week: 5).
Hacked iPhones are spotted on eBay for 700-1000$
Apple doesn't and won't sell their iPhones without an AT&T contract in the US. Basically in every country you can only buy an iPhone with an 2 year contract. There is one exeption: France. Apple HAS to sell their iPhones without a contract there (besides their offer with a contract). The price is not known yet, but it is said to be over 1000 € (equals 1440$ --- oh, that's exactly the amount of money you would have to pay in the US for your mobile phone contract)
Edit: Source for the restriction that you are only allowed to buy 2 iPhones and that cash is not allowed anymore http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2007/1...em-to-two-per/Last edited by Hendrik; 10-27-2007 at 10:24 PM.

You don't need an AT&T contract to buy an iPhone. When you buy an iPhone, you'll find an AT&T sim-card inside, but it's unactivated. If want to use the phone to make calls, you have to activate the sim-card. At that point, you choose the contract you want. But, if you don't activate the sim-card, your iPhone still works. And when you hack it, what is very simple, you can even put any sim-card you like in it.
Also, the iPhones on ebay starts at 500$, not 700.
