Apple iOS ported to the Meizu M8?

The Chinese Meizu BBS has been buzzing today of a possible port of the iPhone OS to the Meizu M8. Apart from pictures, there has also been a video (embedded below) showing someone calling the M8 running iOS. Although it looks convincing, this could simply be someone playing a video on the M8. The most bizarre part of this is that the apparent source of this hack is Meizu Me, and this post.

What do you think? Is this real or fake? Video in post #2.

I don't know if it is possible or not to port iOS to the M8, but what I can say is that this quoted german post is definitly not the source of any kind of hacks or illegal software modifications.

The problem could be the translation from german to chinese.

Depending on the translation of the previous part of his german post (the speculation/question whether or not it is possible to port iOS to the M8), somebody could think he means the ported iOS image for the M8. In fact, he means the original iOS image.

Anyway, one of the reasons cause I don't buy an iPhone is iTunes... personaly, i'm not interested on have iOS on my M8.

lol Did you read crimson05's post? Or did you just read the first post then wrote your reply? Anyway, the point of us getting a Meizu device from the beginning was that we wouldn't be locked into using iTunes or some other software. In addition, using iOS would get rid of what is in my opinion the best feature of the M8/M9, the music player. The iOS music player is the most basic music player I've ever used. Installing iOS (which has been proven to be impossible due to lack of drivers, as crimson05 pointed out) would really defeat the purpose of getting an M8/M9. If you want iOS, get an iPhone.

well i saw all i mean that it would be interesting to test it. I agree that Meizu player is way better but where i live iphone 4 and 3 cost like a CAR!! And if u want i can show u price of a car and iphone here in Serbia

iOS on my M8? Impossible...
The whole reason I bought the M8 was because of the OS.

ha ha ha i had more than one android phone in my hand. I was talking about android for M8 witch is not good an smoth enough or maybe i am blind. I say that meizu os i really good but i was saying that it would be nice to play with iOS on meizu. U guys potence android so much. He is not bad but he is not a cheap option where i live and especially iOS. Those are expensive things here.

Yup, but u can get phone with androit like San Francisco about 110€ and phone with iOS about ....you know what I mean.
