Meizu M8 Firmware 1.0 Finally Approaching

Several sources very close to Meizu are claiming that the final firmware will finally be released, more than one year after the initial test units were released.
Some changes we will see are improved stability, better English with a fully translated UI and the legendary emulation of Windows Mobile 6 apps we've all been waiting for, developed by Microsoft. Finally!
The firmware is set to be released in a few hours. When it is out, you'll find links here.
Update: The firmware is uploaded! http://rapidshare.com/files/37067903/M8FW1.0.rar.html
Happy April Fools everyone!Last edited by Err0r; 04-03-2010 at 09:27 AM.

Thanked 31 Times in 18 PostsI read 12:00am but I guess they mean use the setting of my phone where one shows 12hr mode and everything else is 24hr mode. That means it could be anytime they feel.

Thanked 50 Times in 30 PostsI read about this two or three days ago on the Chinese Meizu forum. Well, at least the Google translation said something that FW1.0 may very well be released on April 1st. And honestly, why not? There have been a couple of leaks before, and the last time we had so many leaks was when the new official FW was released.
Also remember guys, they don't have April Fool's in China; they had their New Year on February 14, so everything is possible.

Thanked 2 Times in 2 Postshard to say
April Fools day isn't celibrated in China, but people do know about it, especially if they have contact with weastern culture. On the otherhand I recall reading something about 1.0 coming out on April 1st a month or so ago. I remember wondering about it back then too. On the other hand 0.9.5 leaked a couple days before 0.9.6 was official. 0.9.7 just leaked so I could see an official out soon, 1.0 could be a streach though.

Thanked 200 Times in 145 PostsSo all the leaks finaly accumulate to something? :D
I mean they practicaly admitted they are experimenting with Android behind the scenes without ever leaking it,
so why not another firmware in which they integrate all the fixes of the leaks.Meizu M8 SE - FW 0.9.9.18 (dao89 n450) Dualboot LBE A11 Android 2.2

Thanked 10 Times in 10 Postsit is not important that they call a firmware 1.0
if the firmware has no bugs and is called 0.9.7.9.7.2.1.5.2.5 it is ok for me too
