hi i'm new to meizu but i like the phone
i'm in the netherlands and my carrier is t-mobile, will it work? i wanna get the SE 16gb
i read a lot of topics but seems to be bugged as hell, is it safe to buy now or wait for an export version? i'm really just gonna call and text message with it, no modding or fancy firmware adjustments, i like things original and simple, also i will be playing music and videos on it and use the internet (if it has wifi)
what do you recommend? i've had a chinese clone phone before but got rid of it quickly, absolutely terrible piece of crap
now i know the M8 isn't a sciphone but still, it sounds really bugged and the price is pretty high

...exactly at that point you´ll start to modd the phone...trust me...
you can´t compare the M8 to all the sciphone crap...i´ve had them aswell...the M8 is, from the hardware point of view, very high quality!!
Use the official firmware and you´ll be absolutely happy with that phone!Last edited by SNOOP_69; 01-11-2010 at 10:37 AM.
get a Nexus and be happy...

PET is polyethylene terephthalate (green plastic) PET's glass transition temperature at about 165 ℃, materials, crystallization temperature range is 120 ~ 220 ℃. PET at high temperatures have a strong hygroscopicity. For the glass-fiber-reinforced type of PET material is, in the high temperature is also very vulnerable to bending deformation. Crystallization enhancer can add to improve the material crystallinity. PET processed with transparent products with the gloss and heat distortion temperature. PET can be added to the mica, and other special additives to reduce the bending deformation to a minimum. If you use a lower mold temperature, then the use of non-filled PET materials are also available and transparent products.

Thanked 2 Times in 2 Postspossibility to run win MO 7
didnt know where to post this.
i read at the german site of engadget that there are rumors about a minimum resolution a smartphonescreen should have to run win mobile 7. it is said to be 840 x 400. and i remember reading in another post on that page that someone already tested a preversion of win 7 and noticed that there is no support for old win apps...

LG Apollo und HTC Obsession: Die Windows Mobile 7 Gerüchteküche brodelt - Engadget German
its in german though but i guess the same info is at the english version of engadget.

Thanked 173 Times in 72 Postsprobably based on wince 6.0, so other systems that run on wince 6.0 can still run apps made for windows mobile 7.
Could it be?

Confirmed: Windows Mobile 7 is based on Windows CE7
And the XDA-Developers discussion thread: Breaking! - winmo 7 is not based on wince at all - xda-developers

Thanked 2 Times in 2 Postsso know we know a bit more about "windows phone series 7"
Windows Phone 7 Series faces off against its Windows Mobile past -- Engadget read more here
the worst thing is the minimum resolution of 480*800 coz the meizu is not able to display that high resolutions... its still build on the same kernel but in my opinion it doesnt look like the apps of the new winOS will work on the meizu.
i hope j. wong meant win7 apps when he said MS is building on a solution for the meizu. however, if he was talking about winMO apps (whatever version) the m8 is not very future-oriented anymore...
greetings
