I think that is correct that M8 uses glass, but PET gives in glass too...

Thanked 72 Times in 49 Postsbut one question... I already had HTC, and it was running wm, and it was impossible to use all apps without stylus, so how are we going to use them with meizu if its not possible to use stylus?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postshello, I think that's what the screen will work with more points, I have an iPhone and Meizu M8, and the precision of the iPhone screen is much higher than that of meizu, also if you look at the screen in full light of day appreciate something along the lines crossing the tiny wires on the iPhone screen because they are closer together, I think is the "digitizer" and I suppose that's why it is more accurate with an iPhone would be possible to use the applications that need a pencil

Thanked 14 Times in 10 Posts'Here's what you can do for free: When you activate Shazam and hold the phone near the source of the recorded music, the app checks the sample against Shazam's online database and returns suggestions to you. The app also leads you to opportunities to buy the song if you'd like. You'll get five chances a month to identify songs.'
There is also a free version, and 5 times a month is not bad if you use it wisely

hmmm, well with the release of windows mobile 7 i believe that finger input will be very high on microsofts agenda and hence will probably mean a raft of apps that allow for finger only input.
I guess the news of the M8 supporting WinMo apps is good but M8 3G in over 6 monthes!
That is not good at all....Once again by the time meizu get round to releasing the spec will be outdated. (as happened with the original M8). And knowing Wong it will be more like 6 years!
I also met someone today at a lunch for my friends birthday, who had a Goodle Nexus One! I couldn't believe my eyes as it has not even been released yet! He told me his friend was a google employee in the US and many of the staff received them as christmas gifts, and his friend didn't want it so sold it to him!
Android 2.1 is very very nice. The touch panel and transitions/scrolling are still not as smooth as the iphone though. Really thin though and very slick device....Would love to see Meizu make something similar.

Thanked 1,024 Times in 375 PostsWell, I've read JW's comments and he never said M8 would run winmo apps in fw 1.0... it might be just a long-term plan, so don't expect the next official fw to run all the apps you can think of. Correct me if I'm wrong though...

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsIs MS actually developing anything for Meizu?
Is the comment meant to be interpreted as... MS develops a mobile OS on the same version of CE as used by Meizu, then by extension the Meizu OS will also be able to run the same WM applications that the MS WM OS targets?

A pen works on M8! no silikon pen, but a metall-pen with a large surface.
And when they want to use in the future PET Displays( gives in Glass too)then we can use a silikon-Pen...

I think the new fireware still can't run most WM apps directly. We still need to modify the apps before using them in M8,
