Playstation emulation demoed on Meizu M8

Member forty7eleven has successfully got the PSX emulator FpseCE working on his M8 and has been kind enough to upload the video above demoing the Meizu M8 playing Resident Evil 3.

Looks smooth. 30-40fps rate is kinda nice =)

The emu v0.1 is only a new realases for windows ce...but runs with correctet ini Files on the Meizu too...

I have read that over 300 Games runs on the PSEce mu...but I don´t know about all games are running on Meizu with this Emu..and I don´t know I must change the ini for every game....

RS3 is in the moment the only iso I can test (I´m not a PS-Fan I was N64, Sega-Saturn Fan..)

When I have more games thats are running I will post it....

Now i do hope that M8SE/M9 will have a possibility for tv-out and a gamecontroller that can be synced with it then i can trash my htpc for watching movies and playing games on my tv screen..

Oh, I don´t know...In the moment I testing Resident Evil 3 to find out all Keys and is in the moment the best running game on this emulator.

Crash Bandycoot 3 runs to slow(have no fun to play),
R-Type DeltaForce runs too, but when you are destroyed the phone hangs up...

I must look for more information about the ini to configurate the keys and so on..

And the Emu is in progress, we can hope of better Versions..

well on my ominia right now Gran Turismo is workine and Crash Bandicot

but i hope to change it soon to a meizu phone , i am really sick of that phone called omnia

and the new Fspce 1.0 Edition can play Final Fantasy 8 with full speed like TEKKEN 3

Yes this is correct, not all will work....

I found a list with play- and unplayable games(need better processor)

I will post it soon...in moment I´m little bit testing to understand the config file and show to the internet for more information....

Do you know more about the config file how is working?? I tetsted Crash Bandicoot 3 but the speed is slow...

I used with the new LBE to start the emu with differnt settings, but mmmmh...I´m not afraid...

The buttons working for playing but to find the correct buttons for the emu is a little bit difficult...

Bit I found the way to close the program, back from emu sreen to landscape mode and so on..

Well On my Omnia that i still have right now , hope fully soon my meizu is commin over here , i got the screen with the buttons but its not workin very good without a controller , i try Crash Bandicot 2 on 0.9.5 edition of Fspce and it works with 45 to 50 Frames

Gran Turismo is at 15-25 Frames

and the omnia is alot slower than the meizu cellphone

Silver_Diabolo doooooooood, dont be impressed. you can NOT press more then one button at once so it is useless in ever game that you push forward and have to shoot or jump or accelerate/turn/e-brake or any other move that requires you to push more then one button at once for a combo. dont bother. it is worthless to use this program or this phone for any more than a phone. sorry to burst your bubble but take the advise cause i am suffering everyday because i didnt do my research.

Yes, you shouldn't buy this phone for PSX emulation. Get a Netbook, HD2, Nexus One, Galaxy S I9000 etc. instead. But if you need something for multimedia, the M8 will be the best PMP you ever used. I can't think of any phone, which beats M8' sound quality. I Used my M8SE as my daily phone and laughed at my friends their iPhones, which couldn't even run two programs at the same time and couldn't even change the desktop background. I will be sending my M8SE to China soon for service. I don't really know what I'm going to do... Getting a Desire or Galaxy S I9000? If Meizu releases the M9 before the end of December, they have a buyer in their hands...

1. Since iOS 4 there's multitasking and a possibility to change the background.
2. There's something big called jailbreak which made multitasking and many other stuff possible since the iPhone came out.

Sorry but after I used the iPhone I started to hate my M8. The hardware is great but it's useless if the software sucks soooo much! I don't touch it anymore untill android is running smoothly on it.
