Widgets are coming to Meizu M8
Meizu promised a major overhaul of the Meizu M8 for version 1.0. It's not only the UI that has been changed, in the last few firmware leaks, we are beginning to see some widgets. In the latest firmware leak (0.9.5.198), Meizu fans have found a very cool looking music widget.
Currently, we can see widgets for weather, time, calendar and music. Click for more screenshots

Really nice, love that music widget, I have always been a fan or the M8's graphics...Eico do a great job. They actually look very similar to the widgets on my HTC hero. It really is time though that the M8 started getting ready for prime time, I would hate to see continual FW issues mar it's progress after the 1.0 FW launch.
After using my Hero and taking out a new contract lack of 3G is really a deal breaker for me, it has just come in so useful that I wouldn't have a phone without it now tbh. Hope Meizu can push out the 3G version soon too. I read a review on engadget though of the Samsung Omnia II too which uses the 800mhz cpu that I think is the one rumoured to be used in the M8 3G. Apparently performance was very sluggish. I think it would be a big mistake from meizu not to use a Cortex A8 based cpu.

Meizu has to focus on IP efforts if their MyStore is to be taken seriously.

We will once there is a real stable version ;-)
I wonder how the meizu performs when all widgets are activated.
edit:
anyone who knows if the weather widget can be changed with a resource editor? This to connect to other broadcasters for european weather information?

Thatīs a cool widget
now serious : Meizu should add a warning (option) at 30 % battery life!
Cause i do notice that at 20 % it could be very fast done with the standby time.

Hey all Meizu fans, i don't know if anyone has noticed, but the wallpaper in these new UI shots is actually out of one of my earlier themes!! (I have only posted two of them so far, so they're not too hard to find) Eico and Meizu must have liked them enough to use them, hmmmmmm let's see if they make it into the official 1.0 firmware update. P.S. If anyone is reading this from Eico or Meizu, i would like to thank you for the UI designs you are bringing to the M8, so clean, simple and stylish, all the while modern and completely user friendly.

If you're talking about the last few pictures in English language posted by Err0r, I think these are pictures from his own phone rather than from Meizu (see the lack of the M logo in them)
