Meizu MyStore demoed on video
In yesterday's firmware build, there was an icon for MyStore (previously known also as MStore), which is Meizu's answer to Apple's App Store. A demo video can be seen above (intro kudos to deepsilence).
MyStore allows you to browse, download and install apps directly from your M8 phone. So far, all the applications are free and MyStore is fully in Chinese. This doesn't come as a surprise seeing that numerous other parts of the build also remain yet to be translated. The official version of MyStore is said to be released later this December, most likely included in a new official firmware update.Last edited by Err0r; 12-08-2009 at 07:46 PM.

Are you sure? I didn't have to login. Maybe a cookie was stored when I logged into the forum some time ago? I installed this new firmware and restored a backup. Very strange...

Thanked 50 Times in 30 PostsNice vid, thank you. First I thought it was an official Meizu-video, because of the nice intro :-)
Is it possible to download the apps on the PC instead of directly downloading them to the M8?

Thanked 50 Times in 30 Posts@rori: I don't use my M8 for Internet (too expensive), but I don't want to be excluded from those M8 downloads :-)

Thanked 11 Times in 6 Posts@ d3lt4:
Why don't you just connect your M8 to you wireless home network? If you have one..
Then you wouldn't have to pay for anything except the ordinary internet you are using on your computer!

good joke!!!
The meizume download section exists, cause fans are translating chinese apps - sometimes it´s hard work....
And the MeizuMyStore is just for chinese people, or people who speak chinese! - I really doubt, that international users will profit from a MeizuMyStore...

Thanked 173 Times in 72 PostsThat depends on it.
Do want a working phone without trouble, or a toy to play with?
I use it as my phone with the 0.9.3.8 firmware, and i have to say that i am happy with it.
I don't want to install new leaks, because they disappoint me, but 0.9.3.8 makes me happy
