this is usually due to mdroid.img or mpatch.img corruption, please try to replace it.

after some investigation with a 16 gb model, now lbe android rom finally supports 16gb device.
16gb users, please try release a5.5, it includes following enhancements:
    1. adds 16 gb support (now works on all M8 models)
    2. fix a audio playback speed issue

    rom download link:

I have a M8 16gb FE (with wifi), so I am really glad to hear that you managed to to make it work.
I won't try it for the moment since I read that it's not currently fully functional and I am not brave enough to "break" something.
BUT, I do thank you all of you that are working on it.

    Team LBE Android 2.1 a5.5

The latest Android to support 16GB version. I was luckily cause I found a pre-compiled dual-boot firmware. Works on every M8 M8SE and M8RE. Posted on request of Forty7eleven.

    Caution:
This can damage or lose your DISK!

    How to Install:
    - Copy the files 'xip.bin', 'mdroid.bin' and 'mpatch.bin' to your DISK
    - Install it like a default firmware
    - Directly boot into Android (Important)
    - Have fun but be careful!

    Download:
    MultiUpload
    Current Phone: HTC Desire HD
My Meizu: Meizu M8SE 8GB White Edition (sold)
    My Programs: MyLang - Wix.com/HondaRacer2/MyLang

Pls make everytime a post like that when a new version comes out. That really tidies up the whole thread here. Or we should make a seperate thread for version and this would be the discussion thread.

    It's really bad ordered here.

Yes we should open a new thread for every firmware update for M8Droid like in Meizu OS firmware section

Or better the forum admin should open a new area special for Android firmware, cause this project deservs it!
