Could anyone tell me is there any posible we can build a perfect Android ROM (with Radio,Wifi,USB and so on) ? Or we have to wait Meizu to build one?
Meizu's M store now are lauched,so I think JW will use the WINCE for a long time...

Thanked 189 Times in 130 Postsantifa321, did you read the footnote on the wiki page? that will make it clear why you have this issue.
no we only need technical documents or skilled developers but both are hard to find it seems.we have to wait Meizu to build one?
And about android for m9.. since the rumor is that google will leave china soon due the disputes they had with the chinese government, the chances are very small that meizu would get a licence to launch a phone with android on it.

Thanked 14 Times in 9 Poststhis could clear the whole android in china stuff :
Google says Android should 'flourish' in China, effectively concedes a point -- Engadget
it says that even if google left china that has nothing to do with the android OS as its available to all and it presumably should flourish in china

Thanked 138 Times in 53 Poststheoreticlly we can build a perfect android rom, but praticlly its very much hard word to get things known.
Another problems is the really small community we have. If this wuld be a samsung phone or something with thousands of users, there would be much more devs. Buts its not, and so i nee to share my time with private stuff, work stuff and this one here.
We clearly need more skilled defs

they will probably want money for their work...
Maybe we could collect donations once they have answered and the conditions are reasonable =)
//Edit: i am a bit worried about the 4 steps to 'become a client'

Would a 'None disclosure agreement' mean that we can not use the drivers as we please?Last edited by Loonix; 03-22-2010 at 02:46 PM.
