Thanked 138 Times in 53 PostsHum the problem is:
i cant see linux booting on my screen (only a small pinguin and a blinking cursor) so i cant see any dir listing. In serial out, i see linux booting, but also no dir listing (would not show there is think)
I dont see any of the ecos and stuff, so its hard for me to find the error
To get a console i would just call sh at the end of the init (linked busybox to sh) thsi works on my only kernel boot thing)
I just want to get rid of the nfs root because i need everytime to put usb cables and stuff. seems easier to have it in one parition.
And android would be a plus to play with so if i can get it this way too, i will do it
Try further this evening

Thanked 8 Times in 7 PostsI've uploaded my initramfs here: Hotfile.com: One click file hosting. Note that /dev/console is not included in there.
As for the console, my kernel config is like this:
as I don't have a serial cable.Code:CONFIG_CMDLINE="console=tty0 init=/init fbcon=rotate:3"

Thanked 138 Times in 53 PostsI think this evening i will have an android booting from a seperate parition. Then i willbuild a dualboot for this. Once i have this setup (use the m8 and windows phone and as dev platform for android) i will finish writing my driver and testing with the baseband / serial port.
So far

Thanked 26 Times in 18 PostsVery much looking forward to it. Everybody working on the project is doing an awesome job
.
Good luck with the driver r3wDy!
When you get a fully working Android then you should sell it, I would definitely be happy to pay. (Unless it is against Google Terms and Conditions)

Thanked 55 Times in 23 PostsI dont see anything there of Jack promising anything ,he just says that they are working on android, that was in june last year and you cant expect them to perfect android for the m8 overnight,it would take months of developing..so maybe the latest post is saying that it will be ready soon.

Thanked 138 Times in 53 PostsSo othey should fucking give us the missing android drivers
we dont need a perfect environment, that would make the community
If we just had a basic running android.
Anyway.
I have no a loinux booting from my flashdisk, and now i will build a dualboot with this. So i dont need to reflash my kernel everytime.
Besides this, i will analyse the code i ported from asm to c (initGPIO) and will create a table to see which gpios are inpout and which are output. Maybe we could then monitor/analyse them further to find what is connected to them
