Hi elsi06, thanks for the help!
i made some custom bat file for those tools to make it easier to work with, the download link for this can be found in the ce topic.
So i allready did know about it, but once again thanks for the help!

Kohain thanks for the link , i did not see this package yet, it seems to make work easier to modify win ce firmware!

About android, i wont have time to work on it in the coming days cause my laptop crashed so i needed to switch over to an old pc with fedora on it, so i have some other priorities at the moment, sorry if this delays anything.

ps, i saw that some people theire m8 got broken by faulty displays, maybe one of you is willing to try some hardware mods like finding jtag or other on the printboard?
(if you wont resend it to meizu ofcourse, it could really help us even if your m8 got a broken display ;-))

Wow, that's cool, it looks real! Btw the landscape mode is because M8's screen is 720x480 and not the other way around, if you know what I mean.

edit: hmm, no replies so far...how is that possible?

yea, seriously. i would love android. The best thing would be to have the m8 turn on and you go to a menu where you can choose between different operating systems, like android, meizu m8 default, etc. that would be awesome...
Almost like a wii menu, i guess. with the option to go back to it. That would really kill the iphone.

Have you tried to download the ZIP files and check what's inside ? Is the installation working ?

It could be fake, somebody could make a video with his android phone, play it on the M8, and it would look like you have android on your phone....

If you touch the screen while playing a video the options for play/pause, volume and scroll pops up. So for him to touch the screen he would have to make a "lock" so that it doesnt respond to his taps and movements with the finger.

It's sad that it's such a small sized video, but from what I can see it looks pretty real! And hopefully it is
Some times, I get this feeling that i really want to work out! But then I sit down on the couch and wait till it disappears..

There's a second video here: M8_Android - 口- M8专区 - 口- 掌上数码 - 愿网论坛 but the movements on the screen are the same so it's a bit fishy...

Is it not just the same video, except that it's upside-down? Or am I completely wrong? :P

That isn't Android, just the new interface of Meizu's M8 OS (WinCE).
