Thanked 3 Times in 3 PostsAfter ready the last messages I would only recommend to be patient and wait for a more final version. I know we are all waiting for a fully functional AM8, but It would be just bad that half the people on the forum break its M8 for being impatient.
I did try vA7 (I didn't install the A8) but now I will wait for a better release: until the heating problem is solved, it's dangerous... As said Clément Marot, "all things come to him who waits".

The heating problem isn't dangerous, its just the power electronics that are getting hot cause the battery can't be charged anymore but the electronics won't get in a standby status to wait for the moment that the battery can be charged again. Because it can't get his energy to the battery it will be burned a way in the form of heat. Energy can't just disappear you see
The cpu, memory and other vital chips are not hot at all so it isn't dangerous

Just to get back on the touchscreen problem.
It seems that now the problem exists under windows also.
Has anyone heard or experienced that?
The screen no longer detects touch to the lower right region of the screen...
Or maybe just my 8GB FE has reached the end of it's life?

Thanked 78 Times in 29 PostsAnyone has got any idea how to remove the extra home screen that's in english, the chinese keyboard, the HipAPN program?
These are installed by default but I want to remove them!
I already found where the apk's are located, at system/apps. Could only install, not uninstall
When I install and uninstall afterwards the orginal files are placed back, but I want to remove them! hehe
and second question, anyone has got ADB working? couldn't find my m8 when running the adb shell?
edit ADB is running, will post the needed drivers in my android help topic

multiupload/ROPVQCET57
It's include Morelocale2 and Google Apps.
Extract and put it to M8's Disk.

Thanked 200 Times in 145 PostsVery very cool Zoorider!
I just started it up, the startup was a bit tricky since it just wanted me to sign up with google before enabeling GPRS or WLAN ^^
Next problem was that you assigned a static IP in the WLAN settings so i needed to deactivate that (press 'menu' button when scanning for WLAN networks, then uncheck or modify the Static IP settings).
Now i am inside the android market and its english from the beginning!Meizu M8 SE - FW 0.9.9.18 (dao89 n450) Dualboot LBE A11 Android 2.2
