Caling and being caled works fine =)
Now we need a more conveneant way to hang up and a rotation fix '^^
i realy held my phone the wrong way around when i answered my 1st android call.

    Great work!!

    //EDIT:
PS: Dualbooting with dao89's n427 is not possible so i had to settle for 0.9.9.17

apparantly you´ve missed a few postings example
Damn! Damn! I tried this and now my disk is gone. When I insert it to USB windows wants to format the disk (because it reads it RAW)
    a rotation fix '^^
I earlier posted a fix on this, but without a shared source we can´t add it.

edit coming back on the corrupted disks.
This might be due the hard power down when taking out the battery since it doesn´t unmount /disk at that point.
when powered on in android, hookup m8 with a pc and run ADB:
    adb reboot
It might do the trick to reboot.

I found this trick from Shutdown Meizu M8(Android) in Ubuntu | CLI

Step 1. Connect your device to computer.
Step 2. Set the IP address for network card usb0(It depends on your system, use ifconfig cmmand to check it).
    ifconfig usb0 192.168.1.101 netmask 255.255.255.0
    ifconfig usb0 up
Step 3. Use telnet command to connect to your device
    telnet 192.168.1.100
Step 4. Run reboot command to shutdown your device.
    # reboot

when i click on the enable pin button, i get a message "enter at least 4-digit PIN. remaining:3".

Read the first post and you have the info that you must disable your pin before boot in Android..

i tried it with another phone. the same problem. i can only change it but not disable the pin. i have an old vodafone sim and apparently they did not offer that "feature" until about 5 years ago.

i will try it again with another phone tomorrow

one might extract the Android image file under unix/Virtual-machine & modify it using the basic steps from this tutorial:
How to enable Android Marketplace on google android-emulator

Keep in mind you wont be able to download/run all apps, so why not trying to use google or some underground website to download some .apk installers? (you´ll find plenty of links with a huge collection of free & non free apps..)
