Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsThere is no model difference. They are all SP version now, with a samsung screen. It comes in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB. JTC electronics seems to be quite good, or miniplayer.info as well.

Walgreens has the 4G M6 for $99.99 plus whatever your local sales tax is and $4.99 shipping. It's a Dane Elec US branded unit with a one year warranty, including the privilege of returning it to your local Walgreens if you don't like it (you get to eat the $4.99 shipping charge). In spite of what a few posters have been saying lately about Walgreens, the problem of delivery from last month was really down to Dane Elec US and not Walgreens and now appears to have been resolved.
I would stay away from an 8G unit until we know a little more about it, but there are always bold frontiersman out there who will leap into the void and sacrifice their nads.Black Dane-Elec US 4GB M6

I ordered the black 4g Dane-elec meizu from Walgreen's a few days back, estimate arrival for me if looking like June 21st, cant complain since shipping was 5 bucks. Looking forward to being a new meizu owner, I'll never buy an ipod again, I smashed my mini with a hammer after changing the battery and reformatting it every other day :D. Anyway, I'll let you guys know how it goes with the new unit, a few fw quirks aside, it seems like a really solid unit from what I read.
Under 120 shipped...... Can't wait to test it out with the Ec2's and some drum and bass, I hear the unit has fantastic bass.....

If you're in the US and looking for an 8 GB I'd go with www.jtcelectronics.biz. The owner Marc is great, and when I sent him an email with questions he responded within minutes. Excellent service, and I did not have to wait to get it. I asked for Express shipping and got it the next day.
I did a lot of research and reached out to a lot of vendors. As far as quality and responsiveness www.jtcelectronics.biz is the best.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI bought my Meizu M6 4gb (before there was an 8gb version) off of eBay from a seller who was from Hong Kong. Had no problems what-so-ever, and am extremely happy with it.
Your best bet for cheapest M6 is on eBay from a seller who can buy these in China/Hong Kong for cheap and then sell it to you really, just look for someone with lots of rep points.

Walgreens only sells in the US.
As for when the D-E 8GB is coming out, who knows. It's a different story everytime I try to get an answer, with more delays than O'Hare on a Friday afternoon.
I have the 8GB M6 OEM version in stock (currently in Black only). I also have the 4GB D-E M6 and 4GB and 8GB Music Card. My prices are competitive (though I can't match Walgreens because I'd lose money), and my service, as most will attest to, is top notch.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI bought mine off an eBay seller by the name of ygsd_cn1. He shipped it quite fast to Canada and he set the player to English for me before he shipped it, overall good transaction

I'll agree with Guitar1969, 4GB is wayyy too small nowadays. Plus, you're not paying too much extra for the extra 4GB. If you're gonna be using it for strictly music and not video, then you might as well buy the M3.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI would recommend avoiding Walgreens. I ordered a black m6 AGES ago (around 20th of june) and it hasn't come yet. I inquired after the 6/11 pre-oder date passed and they said that they didn't receive enough to fill all the orders and that my order MIGHT be filled on 6/18 when another shipment is supposed to came in. I'm currently waiting for a supervisor to get back to me - but it's been two days now so I'm not really holding my breath. I'll probably have to cancel and order from house of dap or one of the other vendors endorsed here, which is what I should have done in the first place.

Well, h3llo asked about the M8, not the 8GB M6. Yes I do ship to England. I've shipped to every country in the EU, so no worries about that. I do have the 8GB M6, but I'm not sure about whether I'll carry the M8 or not. Most likely I will, because it looks very cool, and I have a feeling that it will be a nice little player, even if it doesn't have the phone capability for the US market.
Since these will most likely not be picked up immediately by Dane-Elec for the US and EU markets, I'll be getting them directly from China and stocking them here. I'll keep everyone posted on the Marketplace what I'm up to with the M8, and the M6 SE.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsWalgreens.com UPDATE:
I ordered a black 4gb M6 on 6/13 for the low price of USD $99.99 ($113.23 after CA sales tax + s&h). The website estimated that I would receive the package by 6/25.
On 6/20 I get an email saying that unfortunately the black 4gb M6 is out of stock and that I can either (1) have the white 4gb M6 sent to now because it is in stock or (2) wait until the black ones comes in ("early next week") and receive a USD $10 credit.
Haha! Based on what others said about Walgreens.com orders, I was expecting this to happen so I knew what I was getting into. I don't mind the wait, so I'll gladly take the $10 credit!
I then went back to the Walgreens website for fun and noticed that it been updated, stating that the black 4gb M6 was Out of Stock and now repriced at $119.99.
THEN, I go back today, 6/21, and see that the black 4gb M6 is back at the sale price of USD $99.99 on Pre-Order with a release date of 7/16/2007. Hmmm... didn't they tell me they were hoping to ship mine out "early next week"? July 16 sounds more like THREE weeks away to me!
Anyway, just sharing my Walgreens.com experience with you. I expected this to happen so I really don't mind, especially since they say they'll credit the purchase USD $10! Now, let's just hope it actually arrives!

I haven't bought one from there yet, but Newegg sells both the 2 and 4G black M6 players for $99.99 apiece. They also have $10 mail in rebates, which brings it to $89.99, one of the lowest prices I've seen. I've bought other stuff from there before, and it generally arrives within the week.
