As many of my friend have hacked their iPhones I know they can change their boot logos. Is it possible to do the same on Meizu M8???

yes it is possible, there is an app , which allows to choose boot logo

isnt thats easier to use flight mode, or just switch the sound off?

It's easier to switch it on/off.
