Does Someone Know How To Do This?

Hey all, just wondering if someone knows how (or where) to edit the size of the icons on the desktop. I wan't to see if it's possible to change them to something like 96x480 pixels instead of the default 96x96 pixels. The only reason i ask is that i would like to have my desktop/homscreen look like my Zune (which just has text for the menu/icons). I want to see if can get my M8 to look like one of the pics below.

Surely there must a file to edit to tell the M8 to use icons of any desired size as long as they devise eqaully into the 480x720 pixel screen. We could have some amazing themes/desktops if we could do this. If anyone has any ideas, please help me.

you had to hack the minioneshell.exe or code a widget that looks like this
