[project] Bootlogo´s / Bootmenu´s

Hi all,

like mentionned in the Android port project here,
let us collect some custom art work dedicated for bootlogo´s/menu´s.

I would say, try to make a set of artwork that would be useable for a bootmenu that provides you the option to select the OS you want to load,
and ofcourse a bootlogo that will be used for loading that OS.

Let us collect as many as you got idea´s and if we come that far let us vote witch will be used?

I would like to add a note;
maybe in the bootmenu we can take a note and thank:
meizume.com - for beeing our forum
Banxian & r3wdy - for let us been able to load linux one day.

ps:
for a boot menu use 720 * 480 res. maximum wit a low bit depth,
for a boot logo instructions will follow so for now, do as you want ;-)

it will be there, just be patient and in the meantime we can see how good you art-developers are

@cybermessiah, wow that is very nice!
I see where you want to go with the animation, the droids will run over the M i think, or just blinking the green dots?
It should be possible to do it with an animation, but i do not know if it will be an animated gif or a loop of .png files :s

Hope to see some more nice images like yours!

Maybe just some blinking green dots alternating between green and blue and a bit of soft glow around the MEIZOID logo.. probably shouldnt be too busy. lol.
It would be good to know what type of animation u guys are looking at for ur boot.. I'm guessing animated gif?...Please let me know.

maybe you could skip the green dots,
center the rest some more and as animation light the letters from blue to green (from left to right) but keeping the overal look of the green /blue letters?
