What wrong with meizu to release a firmware that is not an improvement but still have a lot of error!!

So the months dont appear in english if we change the language?

Told you guys, this firmware only adds support for M8SE...don't be surprised nothing has changed. Basically it's the same as the 0.9.3.6 except the WAPI settings (which you don't need anyway).
And don't be surprised that no new firmware is coming out either...JW already commented a while ago that the old UI is soon to be "discontinued". Have to wait for the new UI.

So essentially this is the first Official fW(fu_kWare) for the SE edition...
Remember guys, what the first Official fW for M8 was and felt like...

I am thinking the SE version will outrun the M8 version in a little time, as they are starting from a fW that we all have really wetted out and shown to them what works and what does NOT

I also have a feeling that the M8 (Not SE) users are heading for a time that we have the device, but no stable fW... as the company will start to concentrate on the SE version...

Another thing... The iPhone is being launched in China this week, what do you guys think that will do to the Meizu and their way of thinking???
IMO, Meizu lost on a great chance to capture the market and launch a phone that was home built, home owned in China and had all the capabilities to beat the iPhone, but now with the iPhone coming to China, they are bound to loose out to the front runner... which the iPhone has been all the while ever since it was launched.

And if someone points out the price difference.... remember iPhone is a cult not a device, and if one wants it they will pay for it... and on top of that there are thousands of Apps, that are availabble for the iPhone and surprisingly they all work...

I still run the 0.9.2.7 firmware, so is there a reason to upgrade to 0.9.3.6/0.9.3.7?

totally agree with you!! it´s a bit late to wake up!! But since 0.9.2.7 i like the phone...for me everything works (the part i´m using) and i´m hoping that everything will get a bit straighter with the new UI....

true, since iphone was allready selling on the black market showed they (chinese people) have interest in it.
And the iphone has no wifi for now, but can not imagine that they would redesign the phone just for the chinese market, so software could possible unlock it and then they lost the last difference except the price.

strange, very strange if it would be only a 0.9.2.7 fw with SE driver integrated.

old UI is soon to be "discontinued". Have to wait for the new UI.

i would love to see a new beautifull ground breaking UI, it would catapult the m8 once again to a better level

The iPhone has been for sale in upper-class shopping malls in Shenzhen for quite a long time. It is just very expensive there.

Maybe the change will be that it will become more affordable now. I doubt it will be cheap though.

i am just so pissed. My battery doesn't last more than a day on standby. Anyone know if the battery lasts good on any new firmware, official or not?

my meizu last a few days in standby o.O have 0.9.3.6 but also on other firmware version i had no probs

Shouldn't matter what FW you use i get a couple of days out of mine to always have. Maybe you have a program open all the time and it uses more power or something.

Have a look in your task bar!!!

Not much change at all...Only thing i can think of is that GPRS & MMS are eaiser to configure i.e. don't need to edit that .ini any more
