delay on new FW release

why is there such a delay on the new release...there where a few leaks in the last weeks and no official...is that a new tactic?

someone could explain that? there is also a discussion started on that on bbs forum:

i was thinking the same,
but on the web there are some rumors again that the 1st october (chinese holiday) there would be a new one.
but again it is a rumor.

the leak versions r not officiell !!! The M8 SE worx on a newer fw that not can be downloaded i heard...

People expecting the first version of new UI to come out at Oct 1, but I don't see any chance of that happening...maybe another leak with the current UI, but that's it.

Maybe they are taking the time to test it before leaking/launching, to avoid more bad comments.

M8 SE work on current FW 0.9.2.7

Answer from MEIZU:
"The new UI is still under design which will take about 3 months. The screenshots on our BBS may not be the final version."

I hope that 3 months is calculated from June/July when the first picture was posted on the bbs

No. I received this answer on September 19.
So 3 months - this is October, November, December.

No way, that would not make any sense.

true, it sounds obvious that the function will be there but not used on SE.

for example you computers keyboard can have the key "$" but if you do not need it, you wont push it, so you wont miss it if it was not there and if really needed there are alternative ways the create the key.

You are not able, in any way, to press this button, so i also think that nobody cares, it will be somewhere in the firmware.

You can always simulate the 'play' button with Maintain(look in download section or threads)
