[HowTo] Configure GPRS & MMS in 0.9.2.7

i click enter and save but it don't save my settings. what can i do?

ok i managed it
but is it normal that it loads so slow?

I'm from germany and my provider is O2

i want to call for example the site: "wetter.de" and i'm waiting for 5 min but the site isn't perfect loaded only 15 % of the site.

bist du sicher das du über edge surfst??
denn ich meine das o2 sich nicht um das edge-netz und dessen ausbau bemüht hat und somit du wahrscheinlich mit gprs verbindungsraten surfst..
hast du ein oben in der leiste ein E oda ein G symbol stehen?

das könnte vllt die 5min seitenaufbau erklären

ohh da könntest du recht haben bei mir steht oben ein G -.-
weißt du vll ob die i wann vorhaben das edge netz auszubauen? oder machen die das nur für umts .

mir ist aber auf dem weg nach österreich aufgefallen das ich manchmal son E oben anstatt des G hatte.

and i asked him if he know when o2 works with edge .

sorry...dont know it o2 is planing to make edge availible but to be honest..i doubt that they will do somthing in that direction..
as far as i know...only d1 and all providers based on that connection have edge support...but dont hold me to it

Im very confussed i have typed in all my gprs settings and nothing happens, the phone doesnt even appear to try and connect to the internet
Im on o2 in the uk on a contract, any help with settings would be great thanks

Managed to fix it, didnt realise you have to click the gprs settings you wish to use in the settings menu connected first time just need to figure out to get opera in english as all the websites loads in chinese

Had exact the same problem, didn't select the connection ^^
That would have been the thing i wanted to tell you, too ;-)
But also have Opera only in chinese.. =(

Ok, just figured out how to turn opera into english:
1)Go to your file explorer(think its called "documents" in english :P) and go to root/Windows/explorer.exe on ur M8 and open it
2)Go to root/Program Files/Web Browser and copy the file operarc to root/disc/any folder so you can have acces to it when you connect ur M8 to your PC
3)connect M8 to PC and open the operarc file with editor and change the following lines:
Language File=\Program Files\WebBrowser\locale\english.lng
and
HTTP Accept Language=en;q=0.8
4)save file, disconnect from your pc and go into file explorer on ur M8
5)copy the edited file in original directory root/Program Files/Webbrowser
6)You're done!

Hi. I am in Australia, but having some issues getting GPRS working with the new UI. I have all the network setting for GPRS and MMS set already (Vodafone), but when I connect to the internet it says that any page won't load (tried google etc). Can see the "G" and the little loading icon next to it as it searches, but never finds anything. I haven't done anything other than set the data network info though. Does the INI file steps still need to be done on the newer FW?
