Firmware 0.9.2.7 - Official Version

I am able to send MMS messages with Tmobile USA, but I can't receive them. for server you need to use http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms....

To be honest don't see difference between .2.6 and .2.7 FW they have both made an huge step forward for me.

I know how you guys feel about wanting a stable FW and most time out of not the official version has been most stable but all these FW's that have been coming out have been fixing bugs. So for all you guys still on .0.5 UPGRADE...That is becoming ancient considering there are two more official FW out since then not to mention leaks. Don't live in the past these are making your phone stable, much faster and easier to use.


I still cant get GPRS & MMS to work but this ain't the right forum to ask those questions and I don't really bother with MMS either. I'm not to worried about cool stuff this phone can be capable of either i.e. GAPI, GPS if i could get GPRS to work, Andriod, etc. Well they will be cool but i feel bigger problems are in front of meizu at the moment. like the admin kind of stuff on the phone.

-Names are filed last name 1st
-Caller ID for SMS and Calls need different numbers(duplicate numbers needed i.e. +6421123123 for sms & 021123123 for calls)
-Cant Sync Calendar on outlook
-Cant Sync outlook contact photo's to phone.
-All the substitute programs for Office suck
-Default keyboard isn't user friendly and can't use just 1 modified keyboard for all programs. Find myself having to switch between them all the time depending on what program I open.

Has anyone been lucky enough to get a sneak preview of FW 1.0 prier to it's release? Would love to know what has and hasn't been fixed

How do I upgrade the firmware of my Pomp M8?

POMP M8 is not a Meizu product... it's an average cheap iPhone knockoff.

CHEAP... just looks like a iPhone...
By the looks of it, it is a cheap phone, from probably an unknown company, but if you look at the specs.. they look awesome...

Now how come Meizu could not get it right in the first place...???

I did crack to make wifi icon appeared but how can i read the MAC address on my M8 'cause my wifi network require it to allow M8 to be filtered and use Wifi with ID and Pass #_# so confusing >"< please, anyone help me ???

Unfortunately you'll have to dig in M8's registry for the MAC address:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\SWLD24SP1\Parms
There is a string value named "MACAddress"

try this:
open your network
connect with your m8
watch your routers netinterface if it saved the mac-adress

my router does ;-)

Maybe my question doesn't fit into this thread but is it possible to exchange files by wifi? So to connect your phone with your computer without the cable?

Yes possible, with netassist you can transfer files from your pc to your M8. But unfortunately you can not send files to your pc

I charged my m8 the whole night, till 12 AM clock, then i disconnected it and it was in standby till now. I just unlock my m8 and it says battery less then 20%. Why? i don't use it the whole day

Maybe a cpu-intensive app was running....
What was the charging % before and after charging?
Maybe it just didn't charge?

Remember that the Meizu Charger is not very relaible and it can stop charging at any time. This topic has been discussed at length here in a post, along with the replacement chargers that can be used...

Did you charge it from your computer via usb cable? Yesterday I connected my M8 to my pc before it booted up windows, and the same thing happened...charging didn't start. I had to unplug the usb cable then plug it in again, and then it was ok.
Also make sure that "USB Charge" is enabled in Settings > USB Port!

Hi thanks for the Replies, I charged my m8 with the included charger from meizu with an adapter for germany.

For US users using t-mobile how are you guys connecting to GPRS? after I put the values in the settings the wheel keeps spinning just like the previous version......anyone knows how to stop the wheel?
