Thanked 9 Times in 5 PostsIt's so @#$%^ slow, I'm having a download rate of 0.4kb/s in Shanghai. OMFG! Ok, It's slightly better on server 4. I will try to upload it on the Meizume site afterwards if no one has done so meanwhile.

Thanked 9 Times in 5 PostsBummer. I wanted to re-install NetCF and the darn thing seems to be frozen on running mscoree.dll.400-47....
Edit: I've tried rebooting, it still won't run NetCF properly on my M8. I guess it will back to the leak version for me. Oh, and no character count on sms.Last edited by tilai; 05-04-2009 at 07:27 AM.

Thanked 1,022 Times in 374 PostsYou have to install NetCF from explorer.exe in Windows directory (leaked version works the same).

Seems that none of the fundamental problems for international users was taken care of...
BTW, thanks to honeynut and tilai for uploading to the M8 firmware downloads section, unfortunately I had to delete one as they were duplicates. Or is there a difference?Last edited by Err0r; 05-04-2009 at 10:09 AM.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsIs this FW superior to the leaked one?
I cant find any reason to replace the installed leaked FW with the official one. If there is any advantage, please tell me.
Thank you

Noticed there's a new loading screen.
Can't find any western song lyrics that I've tested, not even Hotel California - a song wildly popular in China.
Overall this firmware feels much smoother, a worthy upgrade from 0.9.0.5 IMO!Last edited by Err0r; 05-04-2009 at 10:36 AM.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsSo you think its worth it dto install the official one if the leaked one is already installed?
I found some lyrics of Metallica and other popular bands. I think for the beginning its a nice feature.

Not sure, I didn't have time to check the leaked version.
Intuitively, official is always better than a leaked version, no?Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsOkay, I unpacked the Xip.bin and wanted to replace the xip of the leaked version. My computer asked me if I want to replace the old xip.bin with the new one and I recognized that both xip.bin files - the official and the leaked one - had eactly the same size.
I think this can't be fortune.
My understanding is that the official and the leaked version have no differents.
